Hefei Evening News "I Love Film"
article/Fan Xiao Eel

was originally intended to be written for "Tokyo Rihe" , but after reading "L'Apartment" twice in succession, I decided to Re-examined this topic, and finally felt that "Very Apartment" was almost a perfect fit.
What I want to say is not Lisa played by Monica Bellucci, not Thomas played by Vincent Cassel, but the stubborn and paranoid named Alice woman.

Alice said that she has come to a dead end for love, and she still has the strength to experience the harm that might be caused to others and the suffering of others.
Isn’t it true that love is a sin, even though we have repeatedly discerned ourselves, no one is right or wrong about love.

This is an out-and-out love movie, the film debut of French director Gil Mimney.
The story kicks off with the male protagonist who is about to get married choosing a wedding ring, and then accidentally encounters the figure of the missing ex-girlfriend, and then begins the interlaced reality of the film and the alternation of the past. Misunderstandings were repeatedly missed, until the true meaning of the other party was lost, and finally the whole drama ended with the actor returning to his fiancée.
Is it love or fate?
Although the film critics gave this movie a high evaluation of "the temperament that is in the same line as Chieslovsky's'red, white, blue' series", it was not the intricate techniques that conquered me in the end. Yes-still about love, about the ultimate of love.

The whole film presents a dangling beauty in fallen leaves, flying snow, pigeons, Paris's unique Gothic architecture and elegant and gorgeous French, with long and fuzzy shots. Just like this elusive love, it's just a look back, maybe a lifetime; just a separation, maybe a goodbye; just a peek, maybe a lifetime of torture.

Alice, you approached Lisa for Thomas, but you betrayed Lisa and deceived Thomas at the same time. Love has become your demon.
And Thomas, maybe you are as innocent as Lisa, but you lost all courage at the last moment.
As for Lisa, you are the most tragic character in the whole film. After you miss it again and again, you end up in death.

The smile of Monica Rubezzi in the last scene was more amazing than shocking. As a result, she won the best newcomer award of the year, followed by the great chapter of "The Beautiful Legend of Sicily". And she and Vincent Kassel also got married because of "Very Apartment".
But ignoring these backgrounds, only France is left, only love is left, and in my eyes, only Alice is left.

This is a controversial role. Although Alice finally ran to Thomas desperately, she watched Thomas fall into the arms of his fiancée by chance through the airport entrance glass. At this moment, there was a sad smile on Alice's face.
For this man, she hurt Lisa, betrayed her friend, and used Thomas's friend to get close to Thomas. Although Thomas seemed to finally respond in the end, she still did not get the man. She has nothing, she has no retreat, she will live in the blindness of love. Maybe she will blame herself, maybe she will repent, maybe she will hate herself, but she can't look back when she reaches the end.
It must be said that this is a brave woman. The reason why many people don't like Alice is usually because she plays a third party, a third party with means and scheming. She played a main role in the whole plot. Without her, Lisa may not die, and it is more likely that Thomas will eventually become married.
But love, there is no possibility. Usually after one step is taken, there is no turning back.
It is Thomas, who always reminds me of the many roles portrayed by domestic actor Wang Lei, looking around, cowardly, and inevitably retreating to love in the end.

At the end of the play, the letters float. It was six o'clock in the early autumn night. The room with the curtains drawn, surrounded by darkness, suddenly remembered Liu Ruoying’s song: Ah, that person/is it only in a dream/why did I use my whole strength to get half-life memories/if it wasn’t for your longing for eyes /If it weren't for my redemption mood/Meet in thousands of mountains and people/Oh, you are here too.
Ruthless youth, young love, must be bloody before they are willing to give up. Only then did I remember that a few years ago, there seemed to be a girl who contradictedly and painfully said sorry to me about a certain boy. Love is selfish.
Who was injured?

This is a French film, Gil Mimney’s film debut. Although many coincidences and mistakes seem to be pretentious, I always remember the small square where the snowflakes danced lightly, the fallen sycamore leaves on the ground with pigeons spreading their wings, the warm and sad dance, the red high heels, the cashmere scarf, and the broken feather pillows flying all over the sky. The down...the thick French texture belongs to the love of France, but it has
no borders.
