Lone girl

After watching this movie, it was originally because of Judy, but it turned out that her performance was beyond my expectations. The 14-year-old Judy can support the entire movie with her performance without letting the audience feel bored because of the monotony of the scene, even now it seems that she is definitely a genius performance.
As a girl living alone, the protagonist Rynn in the film has to learn how to survive prematurely when faced with the harassment of the domineering and neurotic landlady and her pedophile perverted son. Although she has the tact and calmness that is incompatible with her peers, the 13-year-old weak body is still not enough to protect herself. She tried her best to create the illusion of her father's existence, keep a low profile as much as possible, and isolate herself from the outside world as much as possible. But as she herself said, "Father's plan was wrong", she couldn't face everything alone. Fortunately, a boy gave her the help she needed at the right time. I think the "love" between the two of them is a kind of solitary comfort between each other. Needless to say, Rynn doesn't believe everyone (including always thinking about selling Fat policeman from Turkey Lottery), and I think I was rejected by my peers because of my lameness since I was a child, and there is no one who can fully accept his contribution. Mario's feelings for Rynn surpassed his reason. Even though he was aware that Rynn had concealed the great fact from the first side, he still chose to trust her.
The final ending is very open, without telling the protagonist directly what will happen, she chose destruction after losing all the protection. The part of killing Hallet is very classic. The tense plot and the background music are very thriller. I really admire Rynn's wit and bravery beyond her peers. At the end of the film, her seemingly firm and confused eyes are also awe-inspiring.
Judy’s performance was really amazing, she was also very beautiful at the time, she didn't look very much like in "Taxi Driver". If Judy’s early movie chooses a masterpiece, I would choose this one. Thinking carefully about the similarities between Rynn and Judy himself, this role can be said to be very true to her.
