A rare good remake-although it is still inferior to the original.

More political elements were added, several flashbacks were used, and the direct result was that the film was somewhat lengthy. Compared with the refinement and powerfulness of the original work, the new 11 jury does not make rational judgments under reasoning conditions, but more like starting from the elicited memories of one's own experience, and giving a perceptual verdict of not guilty. Moreover, it is a bit blunt for everyone to say what they have experienced. After all, this is not your psychiatrist’s sofa, and the person next to it is not a transparent person!

The theme of the original edition is very clear: fairness. The new version of the ending has a twist, which makes the movie seem more profound---this can be seen from the famous celebrity quotes used at the beginning and the end of the movie, which is like the celebrity posters on the wall in elementary school (after all, they are all communist countries. Imagination is the same TM). But when you think about it carefully, it's actually not that tenable.

But in general it is still a good movie and it is worth watching. Especially it evoked my urge to watch the original version again, saying that I have watched it for the first time. But every time I can see a thin layer of sweat on my forehead, as if I was in the sultry and heavy cabin before the rainstorm came.

This version is more acceptable, after all, the original version is too old to experience the sense of age at the time.

But I couldn't care less, because you've made it clear that you don't care either. You and them deserve each other. So I vote Not Guilty.
