His behavior is a way he is willing to face himself. But this kind of inner induration needs a loving woman to resolve. Therefore, when the mother he did not want to accept came, he could not accept a strange woman's sudden confession to him. He wanted to vent all the grievances of the past 30 years in his most vicious way.
The scene of Li Jiangdao's revenge on his mother is more like an explanation for the sculpture of the Pietà. The Jesus in the arms of the Virgin is the child of the Virgin, but all of us, including the Virgin, are also the child of Jesus. The Virgin is both his mother and his child. The moment he entered his mother, the great pain the mother endured, I would like to bear to imagine that this is a kind of human original sin. In order to convince Jiang Dao that she is his mother, she pretended to be a mother who had been separated for many years, and was willing to pay any price and infinite pain for the behavior she had done back then.
At first Jiang Dao made a defense, scolding her, beating her, and assaulting her. He asked her where his mole was and forced her to eat a piece of his own meat. In order to avenge this murderer and bring him the pain he can perceive, she disguised herself to the extreme. As a viewer, you have to believe that this is all a repentant mother can do to get her son back.
She finally melted Li Jiangdao with all the warmth a woman can bring to her child. They experienced the threat of the avengers together, and became more integrated. Gradually, she discovered that Jiang Dao was such a child who lacked safety and maternal love. For a time, she even seemed to be treating her own son.
However, when she knitted the sweater and returned to her child's house again, she was still uncontrollably sad. Everything she did for him was just a disguise for all pain.
Three, happiness? Disillusionment.
She cleaned the room for him and cooked for him. For the first time, Li Jiangdao discovered the kindness of his mother and the love of the family. It turned out to be so warm and happy. They go shopping together, like an enviable couple, feeding each other food and fulfilling the childhood dream of a child playing with balloons. The word happiness cannot express that a person who has not had a mother for 30 years suddenly has the emotional range of a mother. I think only the kind of pain he will suffer in the future can be compared. How painful he is, then how happy he will be.
Why is the word happiness so difficult to measure? Is it because everyone's happiness is the same?
Why is the expression of pain so heavy that it cannot be surpassed, like the word Shengshang, because there are countless kinds of pain for all people?
There is a sign of the beginning of disillusionment. My
mother bluntly knits a sweater in front of Jiang Dao. What Jiang Dao said to her mother who was knitting was all her heartache:
"Before you came to me, where did you live what kind of life?"
"Is there no family? Husband? Or children? Do I have any brothers or sisters?"
Her knitting speed became faster and faster, and her tears couldn't stop. Jiang Dao asked again:
Is there anything you want to do? Is there anyone you want to kill?

She is redeeming Li Jiangdao's soul, not annihilating it.
The forgiveness and redemption brought by this revenge made me desperate. To be a human being, the pain he endures from birth to death. The body is like this, the soul is even more so. In the end, we cannot take away our souls. They may exist in the world for a while, that is the moment when you are pursuing your heart. Just like the moment when a mother painfully endures the death of her son and repressively induces another person's soul to turn, just like the moment when Li Jiangdao listened to his mother's pain and helpless and begged for mercy from the hurt mother.
