Doomed death

When I watched "Death Illusion 1", I thought this movie was about things that happened after people died like "Sixth Sense". This movie has always given me this feeling, and it reminds me of a movie. It's also about what happened after some people crashed and died. I forgot their names. Moreover, there are some time-traveling texts interspersed in the movie, which is always too clear. I thought that the whole movie was really about some hallucinations after death, or a monologue of a mentally ill patient, especially the plot of the rabbit movie in the classroom, which is really misleading.
However, when I saw "Death Illusion 2", I realized that it was not just that. In order to make the film more obvious, some time travel plots were indeed interspersed. However, these plots don’t seem to be very useful. They should be just for a stupid person like me to see it more clearly. It does not help the creativity of the film and the development of the plot as a whole. It should be said to be dispensable. . Only then did I really understand why the movie kept saying "Only you can save the world".
The movie seems to illustrate an illusion that exists during time travel, and most people forget it after experiencing some time travel. And the death of some people is doomed and cannot be changed, otherwise they will face the end of the world. Before facing the end of the world, those who will die in the future can travel through time to return to the past to warn the person chosen to die-you go to die, so as to avoid the death of so many people and avoid the end of the world. It is wrong to deceive the god of death! Speaking of this, it suddenly reminds me of "Reaper is Coming". In "Reaper is Coming", death is almost a fate, and no one (in the series "Reaper is Coming", it seems that only two people have survived, and That movie looks strange, a bit different from the others) It can deceive the god of death, and in "Death Illusion", it seems that people can escape some death disasters with the help of people who are dying in the future, but this way Is to be punished, that is-he will cause the death of these people who will die in the future, and face the end of the world; if no one helps him escape the disaster, then those who will die in the future will be fine, and there will be no end of the world. (I feel so contradictory).
Overall, "Death Illusion" is very creative.

S. Darko quotes

  • Agatha: [about Iraq Jack] He should've died up on that windmill.

Corey: I was thinking we chop off his balls and stone him.

Sam: Light him on fire if gas was wasn't so expensive.

  • Pastor John: I used to be like you.

Corey: What, you had a training bra?

Pastor John: Not exactly. But when I was your age, I experienced things that made me feel like God didn't exist. Maybe you've experienced something like that too.

Sam: You don't know anything about me.

Pastor John: I can see that you're in pain.

    Sam: I'm alive.

Pastor John: Is that how you see life?

Sam: Till farts taste like cherries, yeah.

Corey: What do you think God's farts taste like?

    Sam: Marshmallow Peeps.
