The film is about a love story between a man and a woman, and a story between a mother and her son with severe Down syndrome who she insists on taking care of. The film tells two seemingly unrelated stories: The first story takes place in Montreal today. Anthony is a very successful man. He carefully maintains between his new lover Rose and his old lover Caroline Fragile balance. In addition, he has to take care of his daughter and consider his future and career. The anxious life finally pushed him to the brink of collapse step by step. The second story takes place in Paris. The protagonist is a mother named Jacqueline. Jacqueline has a son who suffers from severe Down syndrome. In order to take care of his son, Jacqueline almost abandoned all of her life and insisted on raising the child in her own way. But the child gradually became interested in the outside world and hurt his relationship with his mother.
