This is a movie about the birth process of "Origin of Species". Before watching it, I thought it must be an obscure and dull film, but I was very involved and even entangled in the process of watching it.
Darwin, a great man who surpassed the age very far, must be painful, because he was too advanced to be accepted. In such an era when God created all things, Darwin’s theory of evolution simply challenged God and despised religion. Who can accept that we are relatives with orangutans? !
The most entangled one of these is people's long-standing spiritual support. If there is no God, then there will be no heaven after death, and there will be no basis for thinking about it. So Darwin dared not finish the theory of evolution for a long time, not because he was afraid of going to hell, but because he was afraid of losing. His wife said, "You have to fight against God. This shows how difficult it is for Darwin to write "Origin of Species" in such a square-headed country. I really want to cry. So at the end, when his wife finally did not ruin this great book, I was moved to tears~~~The power of love, little Tatsuko, fortunately you married a good wife~~~~
This film was well shot. Although it was a biopic of a great man, it didn’t mean to sing praises at all. It made me fully feel the painful entanglement of Darwin when he was writing this book~~~
