The love in his heart

This film is very stylish and well shot.

Don't always be connected with family and love, don't think that joshua is evil, let alone think that children are simple and innocent. Joshua's mental and psychological age exceeds his actual age. It can be said that he is a nervously sensitive child. Joshua's parents didn't know him, really didn't. At first he asked his father:'Don't you think I am weird? 'Actually the answer he longed for was:'Yes. 'Even said that he would like to do this. But, my father didn't understand. He is not good at sports, those group activities, which shows that he is isolated, but he is absolutely unique.
What kind of love Joshua longed for might not be clear to him himself. But one thing is that he doesn't know how to love, even his parents don't know how to love him. He asked them those embarrassing questions, but they couldn't answer them at all. The film is more about the love between husband and wife and the love for babies. Compared with Joshua, they still failed. Joshua gave them opportunities time and time again, hoping that they would understand themselves, but lost time and time again. Finally, the nervously sensitive child released himself in his own way. He is a naturally miserable person...
Talking with children is not coaxing them, but talking and discussing. Many children are not as simple as it seems.

So there is a lot of room for imagination at the end... Finally, his playing and singing are amazing.

Joshua quotes

  • Joe Cairn: [visiting to see the baby] How many rats in this building? I'm guessing a hundred.

  • Joshua Cairn: You know, you don't have to love me. That's not a rule of something.

Brad Cairn: But I I*do* love you. You're my boy. I'll always love you, no matter what.
