Deadly pain gorgeous curtain call

I just finished watching the thorn bird and wanted to get something out of my head. I
didn't see it very much, but it was still a good film.
I thought it was a cruel story
. Every character is so sad. Probably only Justine has a reluctance. The happy ending
is actually why the author is not cruel to the end.
In the last shot of the plane flying by, why do I feel that it is so shaky? It is so
tragic that I don't know which character to start from
. Meggie , everyone
she loves is Dead
I think when the story goes like this, she's like a devil in my heart,
why isn't she a devil? She's been fighting with God for the right to be loved all her life,
just like Satan is a soul abandoned by God,
but it takes sacrifice The way of love Fighting against God won't get a shred of mercy from God because God has no love
What a pure believer Dane is He didn't even struggle like Ralph in choosing God
But he's also taken away mercilessly If God's will can't be defied then We can only blame Meggie
because she stole what was supposed to belong to God - Ralph's heart
I never liked Meggie because I couldn't get her to take revenge for
her partial love for Dane and ruthlessness towards Justine The snub seems to have become her tool to take revenge on the world
How can your mother be so selfish
What you don't give to you is just another form of your love
Whether it's Dane or Justine You're not a mother because you don't Maternal love
, Ralph, I think he's the saddest character in this story
He has too many desires, fame, status, achievement, and love, but he doesn't know for a moment what he wants.
He is the point of confrontation between Meggie and God. He was torn apart innocently.
He thought he wanted God's teachings. Meggie told him that it was just a cover for his ambition.
He thought he wanted Meggie's love, but found that this woman couldn't fill all his love.
He was just a man who was willing to give big love but couldn't give up small love. I
believe that people who have not experienced loving one person will not know how to give love to more people,
so big love and small love cannot be in conflict,
but in this story God is so narrow that he joins forces with the devil Deceiving such an ordinary man
Ralph became a victim of this struggle and so did the others who died Every ordinary man in the world was the same oh
god no love god became the devil in another dimension
every one of us was forced Bumpy on the road to heaven and hell Don't know if it's hell or heaven
until Dane dies Ralph won't know he's his son Because until then he still has dreams to fulfill
and the son will be a deadly one
It's understandable that Meggie didn't tell him, but since that's the case, why did your son die in the end, and you confessed again. When you were
talking about this, the woman's face was ruthless, and the man's tears couldn't break her heart.
Meggie may have been in In the struggle of life, I have cultivated the indestructible body of King Kong,
but a person who doesn't know how to choose is so fragile. Can you understand it?
Meggie has never really understood the feelings of this man. She may not be able to understand it, so she has to choose to accept
it because she knows herself Love bravely, see clearly what you are after, and then let go and fight
She only knows that she loves this man. With this eternally righteous and harmless love, she can have him in disguise,
but what a luxury for Ralph to be so carefree. He is bound
by all kinds of desires. Choose one of
these, how'd Meggie know the pain in it
Maybe you'd wish she'd told him Dane was her own blood
but it
might he won't be happy, he'll still struggle It will still be painful
, as he said, it's destiny, he's destined to be a priest, he's destined to love a woman with his whole
life, don't you feel sad when you see such a life?
The meaning of the thorn bird is really love?
is true love necessary ? Do you pay the price of your life
to die for love to gain the admiration of the whole world?
I prefer to believe that it is a metaphor for life, there is no choice, everyone
is a bird of thorns.
With this fatal pain in exchange for the gorgeous curtain call of life

The Thorn Birds quotes

  • Luddie Mueller: Well we're just glad you did show up, Your Grace, It's good to know there's someone in the world who cares about the poor girl.

Ralph de Bricassart: Thank you. I want to go back into her.

[Anne stares after Ralph, as he goes back to Meggie]

Anne Mueller: Cares about her, Luddie? If you ask me, he's in love with her.

  • Anne Mueller: Oh, Meggie! You've the face of an angel and the body of a goddess, and what you mean is, you don't know how to make a man get you pregnant? What you need is a good education. Lady Chatterley's lover! And Henry Miller, definitely Henry Miller!
