There are a few scenes in Mai Qiu that are particularly memorable:
1.
The grandfather from Yamato is deaf, and the child calls him a idiot. He can't hear him, so he turns around and laughs happily.
When going to see the Buddha, the children gave him candy. He still laughed and put the candy in his mouth. The children said, "He actually ate the candy paper."
Little cruelty and tenderness, this magic weapon of Ozu, can make me hear thunder in a calm place.
2.
Grandpa went to buy bird food for the canary, the train passed, grandpa sat down and waited quietly. Look at the sky alone. Layers of white clouds in the sky.
Ozu's films are brilliant.
The grandfather, who was worried about his daughter's marriage but didn't say a word , sat down and looked up at the sky with a slightly raised face. An empty shot made life a little farther
. Two backs. I have been guessing: one is Ayako and the other is Noriko. The lens is so long and beautiful, and when the lens is turned around, I realize that the taller one is Shizi and the shorter one is Noriko. The plot of these two sisters-in-law stealing cakes together is also quite funny. Ozu's blandness has humor and cruelty has laughter.
4.
Although Li Zhizhong here is not as warm and warm as the "Tokyo Story", he still has magic power, as if he can put his eyes on my heart. His reply "Uh--" dragged out the tone, Ying Heli was stubborn and very cute.
5.
(In the background, Yamato's grandfather is smoking alone. The marriage team in the distance walks quietly through the wheat field)
A dialogue from Ogisang Obasan:
"Although everyone is scattered, we are a happy family."
"Well, After a lot of things, a long period of time..."
"Continuously living a dull life..."
"But I lived happily..."
"Well..." The
flowing wheat fields, the flowing shots, the mature Death, the separation in consummation, is a natural and joyous life.
