Every dog may be a Hachiko

The most touching movie I've seen recently.

Although when I received the disc, my colleague had already been vaccinated and told me not to cry too aggressively, but in the end the tears still burst. I always have no resistance to things related to animals.

this is a true story. Every day at 5:05, there will be a good dog sitting upright, waiting for his owner's return outside the station in the small town. One day, the master went, never came back, and left it forever. In the past 9 years, every day, rain or shine, spring, summer, autumn and winter alternated one after another. It was still waiting there, waiting for the owner to come back one day.

The most touching scene is the wife of the dog owner. Many years later, he went to Xiaocheng Station and saw Hachiko. It was old and dirty, she held it and cried silently.

The cover of the film has a sentence: "Always remember the day we met."

They are just a small fragment of our lives, sometimes even a small trouble, but we are indeed all of them.

Postscript: I often come up to see everyone's replies, and I feel warm in my heart. We, because of a movie, because of a dog, find resonance. Sometimes I doubt the power of words, even though I often cry when I read other movie reviews or other things. Seeing that many people were moved by what I wrote, they said quietly in their hearts, it’s Hachiko, let us be together.
I recommend everyone to check out the Japanese version of "Hachiko Monogatari". I personally think it looks better than the American version. It is very, very delicate. It allows us to understand more deeply that the feelings of an animal and a dog are so real and deep. .

Hachi: A Dog's Tale quotes

  • Ken: [Talking in Japanese] It's been a year, hasn't it? I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night and think about Parker. He was a good friend. I understand how you feel. Hachi, my friend, Parker is never coming home. But if Hachiko wants to wait, then Hachiko should wait. You want to wait for him, don't you? Have a long life, Hachi.

  • Cate Wilson: Hachi? Hachi? Oh, old thing! You're still waiting. That's right. If it's all right, could I wait with you for the next train? Yeah? Thanks.
