Arlington National Cemetery, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial and other places will hold various activities to commemorate the men and women who died for the country in previous wars. By commending veterans who participated in the war, the Americans aroused people's patriotism. As for the controversial ending of the main theme, He Xiaogang actually thought of it a long time ago: "When shooting a movie, I prepared 3 different endings. I have been thinking about it when shooting, can the ending be not so bright? For example, there is no one in Guzidi at the end. This ending may be better, but it may not pass. Later it was changed. I called Liu Heng about the ending. Liu Heng was anxious, and he said absolutely no! Xiaogang, you know, the audience believes in the myth. What is the myth? That is, the hero will stand on the top of the mountain in the end! Guzidi can't die !" Finally, the assembly number ended with Liu Heng's script. Although understandable, this is still the biggest failure of the film. Personally, I think that the realism of the war scenes of the assembly surpasses the Korean Tai Chi flag flying, but the ideological nature is far inferior to the latter, which is a reflection on the war, with only human nature and no heroes.

As an anti-war activist, I oppose all forms of war, including the use of force to resolve the Taiwan issue. Putting it in the long river of history, any war is the cannibalism of mankind, whether it is justice or injustice, whether it is aggression or civil war. War is the trampling of life and the destruction of human nature. The beneficiaries of war are careerists and madmen, and the victims are ordinary people and soldiers in general.
