Like silk

Rohmer's "Six Moral Stories" has a new D9 version, and the cover of the cover is very elegant. It reminds me of the missing set of "Four Seasons"-the colors are also beautiful. Although there is a D5 box, I bought another copy of "The Woman Who Collects Men", which was previously translated as "The Female Collector."

I really like the actress who played the female collector Heidi. The boy has short hair, a serious face, bright and rich eyes, sexy lips, and has nothing to say about his body. —— At the beginning of the film, Rohmer showed her a few partial close-ups, which directly reminded me of that kind of terrible MV, no matter what the song is, a few beautiful women in swimsuits walk around:)). I looked back and found that this actress was called Heidi, who was also one of the screenwriters of the movie. She is the soul of this movie (suddenly I feel that this word is irrelevant, it is better to "she is the incarnation of this movie"?).

There is not enough to talk about the plot of the movie, just as there is not enough to talk about the men in the movie. But to be fair, Aden and Daniel are quite cute. Although one is too short-tempered and the other is Rosso, they are both artists, and they all dress themselves up, wearing old blue sweaters with hairy balls, and bright reds. Flower bathrobes and a convertible car with only bone frames that make me puzzled. All in all, they don't hate it, it's quite fun. The men around Little Heidi came and went, the one who drove to pick up was one, and the one who drove back was the other, so that the two men who lived in the country house were indignant and frustrated, while maintaining a high moral standard. It must also reflect the elegance of taste, and struggle with whether to "regenerate" into Heidi's collection.

The advantage of Rohmer is that he won't be drawn out when he talks about morality. In this movie, it's not just the binary opposition between lust and morality. Good sunshine, good sea water, full of food all day long, useless, it is a bit difficult to think of wealth and not lewdness. Therefore, the moral issue here is still a bit of antagonism of values. There is a book called "Above Indulgence and Nothingness", between indulgence and nothingness, there will be a fight between indulgence and nothingness. Rohmer brought a bit of mockery to portray nothingness. He was too good at this thing. He just clicked a few strokes to show all his charm. Indulgence was just a side story. He was very young and healthy. In fact, he didn't really shoot like Fellini's "Sweet". The indulgence in life like that. Rohmer actually wants to be homely, petty, not so high society, not so low-class. In the final analysis, his accent is Heidi's smile, which is pretty.

So I always look at Rohmer hedonistically and the books in the camera (there are two books in this film with close-ups, but unfortunately I can’t recognize them. I may not know what the meaning is, 555), sculptures, The furniture, the house, the clothes, the fruits, the sea, the bushes, the wild flowers, the blue plaid picnic cloth... how pleasant the colors, how dreadful the light and shadow, how utterly utterly nagging French.

But Rohmer also has his fault: he can beat silk and silk, but he can't beat the sound of cracking silk. When Heidi smashed the vase, everyone’s actions were wrong, his expressions were wrong, how awkward—he was not good at intense drama conflicts, and what he was good at was the subtle ups and downs and rich sides of his heart, the next one in the bathroom. The lens, the two Heidis in the two mirrors side by side, have long eyelashes, although they are just a clever shot, they are still very beautiful. In the end, Aden was a deserter. To the end of nothingness, it is irresponsible, that is, throwing a little girl in the middle of the road. As an artist and intellectual, why can he find a reason? Justify yourself? Libido sublimated into art? This place is funny and a bit annoying, but after all, there is nothing to be annoying. The best way to face the nihility is to get rid of his own grievances and vanity, so that he can do nothing and think, and take care of nothing. For (I have been watching "Laozi First in the World" written by Li Ling for the past two days, now I am selling one:)).

The Collector quotes

  • Adrien: You're a little immoral slut!

Haydée: I definitely don't agree with your morals.

    Adrien: I don't either.

  • Adrien: In all sincerity, I think I serve mankind better by taking it easy than by working. It's true. It takes courage to not work.
