I'll show it to you

This one of the trilogy is relatively normal, unlike "Canterbury Tales" which is too sordid and dirty, nor is it as jokingly and viciously as "Decameron". The film retains some warm parts of human nature, and positively compliments both the love of the same sex and the opposite sex.

In "Decameron", Pasolini is a prank viewer (the apprentice of the great painter Giotto). After finishing this rich Italian style painting, he said: "But I wonder, when the dream is sweeter Why create artwork?". In "Canterbury Tales", Pasolini turned into a deliberate prank maker (Chaucer), from time to time in the film with ambiguous smiles, and the final subtitle: "The above story is only for people to enjoy and entertain." The challenge to the secular and the subversion of ethics willfully overwhelmingly. "One Thousand and One Nights" adopts an almighty narrative point of view, a "thousand-layer cake" structure, and there are stories in the story.

The slave girl Sumaro got the freedom to choose her master. She mocked the slave owner who tried to buy her. She chose the poor boy Aladdin, taught him the pleasure of sex, and read to him a story from the book: The King Sacrificial Trip, The King The younger brother of the poet finds three boys looking for sex joy. The king and queen bet that they will choose a beautiful boy and girl to make them fall in love.

Aladdin did not follow Sumaro's advice, and a blue-eyed Christian kidnapped Sumaro. Aladdin was crying and looking frantically. In order to get Aladdin, a middle-aged woman helped him find Sumaro, but was robbed by a robber by accident. Summaro escaped with a trick and accidentally became a king. While looking for Aladdin, she avenged the kidnappers and robbers.

Aladdin was kidnapped by two nuns, and then hired by a woman to do work. The woman read a story to Aladdin. Prince Solomon Tayusuo met a young man Aziz while hunting. Aziz told him about his emotional entanglement with three women, and finally found out that true love was by his side but was irretrievably tragic. Tayuso found that there was a princess's Jinpa next to Aziz, so he gave up his prince status and the two went to pursue the princess together. The princess often dreamed that the female bird fell into the dreamland of the male bird flying away alone in the net, and she hated the man who proposed marriage. Tayuso bought the gardener and hired two extraordinary laborers to paint in the garden.

The two laborers are actually princes, and they tell their own stories: one was turned into a gorilla to save the princess from the devil's robbery, and was restored to its original form when the other princess died; the other was in the will of God Going out to sea, destroying the "Bronze Knight" who caused disasters on the sea, but under the guidance of divine will inadvertently kill innocent teenagers as a sacrifice. They have failed the people who love them so they choose to do asceticism.

Tayusuo finally completed the reconstruction of the garden. The princess saw the picture of flying with wings, and the sadness in her heart was gone, and the two enjoyed happiness. Aladdin also came to Sumaro's country under the guidance of the lion. Aladdin was surprised to see that the king took off his clothes and became his Sumaro. The two went through hardships and finally became happy.

The "Trilogy of Life" has an excellent portrayal of the secular customs of the Middle Ages, but it also destroyed many good things in my heart. The hypocrisy of religion and the sinisterness of human nature are torn to pieces for you to see. The nuns coax a man, the monks are discharged from the anus by Satan as farts, the wives cheat in front of their husbands, but the stupid husbands are still enjoying it, the loan sharks are respected as saints, and the prostitutes pee on the heads... The tides, religious restrictions on morality and ethics cannot be stopped.

Pasolini opened this flower of evil to the extreme in "120 Days of Sodom", and he will also be remembered by posterity as the back of the coin.

7.4 The trilogy takes Silver Bear, Golden Bear and Silver Palm, this one seems to be the best one. There are parallel short films and nesting doll structures, and the story is still inexplicable, but compared to the "realism" of Boccaccio and Chaucer, the mythology of One Thousand and One Nights is still somewhat romantic.

I saw it many years ago, the typical oriental narrative, the stories are stacked one by one, which is very interesting. In addition, there is the love plot in the film, but I also saw the desire under the white robes of the Middle Eastern Arabs, which is very natural and simple. Later, when I went to countries in the Middle East and North Africa, I often thought that those magical stories happened in these places, such as stealing and casual traditions, which have really been followed, and the locals have become accustomed to them.
