At the beginning I heard the Japanese version of "Sorrow" of "Farewell". This song is composed by JP Ordway (Jone Pond Ordway) American (1824-1880). The original song is called "Dreaming of Home and Mother".

In 1915, Li Shutong wrote "Farewell" again, with minor modifications to the original song and new lyrics.
Outside the long pavilion, beside the ancient road, there are green grass and sky. The evening breeze blows the willow flute, and the setting sun goes beyond the mountains.
The ends of the sky, the corners of the sea, and friends are scattered. Don't dream of cold tonight for a drink of dirty wine.
After the popularization of "Early Spring in February" and "Old Things in the South of the City" and "Let the Bullets Fly", everyone in the celestial dynasty knew this song and everyone could sing it.
