In French there is a word moraliste that I don't think has any equivalent in English. It doesn't really have much connection with the word “moral,” a moraliste is someone who is interested in the description of what goes on inside man.
Therefore, it is wrong for many film critics to focus on “moral”. Movies just observe people’s hearts, and the director does not want Raise the behavior of the men and women in the movie to a moral height.
