BLAME!

I didn't read the original work, so I just talked about some thoughts on the film.

This film can also be said to be a disaster film. Because humans created robots, the system/program infection (maybe logical confusion) made human-made robots and network recognition systems unable to recognize humans, resulting in human beings being sentenced to illegal residents. Killed, so the film is called BLAME.

Human beings were expelled from the city they used to build, and they slept in a corner with a barrier. These people are already human beings a long time later. They wear equipment made by their predecessors and go out hunting. At this time, the heroine encounters fog. Hai, Wuhai rescued her. I have watched many disaster movies, and many will have a hero leading everyone out of the predicament. The Wuhai in this movie is also equivalent to such a role.

Wuhai has been looking for someone who has the genes for the internet terminal. He said that he is a human, so he was taken back to her village by the heroine and found Hippo. However, the conversation between Hippo and Wuhai was totally unacceptable to the people in the village. Understand, it can be seen that civilization is almost dead, they are just lacking, and even the technology to make their hunting equipment is gone. Therefore, it is urgent to regain control of the network.

I like the performance of the dying civilization in the film. First of all, I can tell from the remnants of humans. When they talk about the humans who made these machines, they are talking about ancient legends. They don’t know how to use trains, but they still know that they need to rest. When you relax, you have to set a fire. Human civilization can be said to start with fire. With fire, beasts can be driven away... It can be seen that civilization is continuing with difficulty.

The interaction between the heroine and Wuhai in the film is also quite interesting. When Wuhai was asleep, the heroine talked to him, but he was indifferent and lay on the bed coldly. However, Hippo, who had some internet data, easily awakened Wuhai. , Wuhai and the heroine Zulu are not destined to be the same world. They can also be said to have communication barriers. Secondly, this man Tai had a good foreshadowing. At the beginning, when they went hunting, Tai was in a state of hindrance. I felt that this person would have problems, but this person really had a problem later. In addition, Hippo is obviously much taller than the people in the village. If this is the way it is, then the film can only tell us that the lack of material makes humans smaller. Possibly malnourished.

It may be that the original work is not over yet, so the ending of this film is not that they successfully regained control of the network, but that Wuhai continued to search, and humans continued to live in places where they could not be found in the watchtower.

The grand wasteland concept and cosmology are out of proportion to the villagers who are so weak and have no self-knowledge and live without soul. The original should be particularly good-looking, not so empty and loopy. A lot of parts will be reminiscent of Neuromancer.
