This theatrical version is still very good overall. After all, it is difficult to tell hundreds of episodes in more than an hour. Due to time constraints, the encounter between Xiaozhi and the elves seemed very hasty, and the evolution of the little fire dragon and the green caterpillar was also amazingly fast, if only a little longer could be added.
The plot is actually quite simple, basically without any ups and downs, that is, the TV version is condensed, the climax scenes are all given to Xiaozhi's death and sad Pikachu.
There is a short section in the middle of the movie. Xiaozhi is controlled by the darkness and has a dream. The dream is an ordinary world without Pokemon. I can't help making people feel cold behind their backs, which one is their real world, maybe everything is just a dream of Xiaozhi on the desk.
When Xiaozhi was besieged and was dying, he looked at Pikachu with a blurred vision and asked, "Pikachu, why do you keep refusing to go in", "Because... I want to stay together" is the answer given by Pikachu. At this moment it spoke, maybe it was just Xiaozhi's imagination, but how many people couldn't stand it, tears broke. This sentence is probably what we most want to say to Pikachu, stay together, grow up with us, and grow old.
Xiaozhi, who is not grown up, and Pikachu, who never evolves, accompanies us one spring and summer. Meeting you when we were young is the best encounter. Even if our Qingsi changes white hair, goodbye to you, it will still be the same.
