In this movie, the image of each character is very vivid. Ju Dou was kind-hearted at first, but gradually became numb because of her husband's abuse. Her life was like a stagnant pool until she discovered that someone secretly fell in love with her. I believe that Ju Dou did not kill Yang Jinshan at the beginning, nor did he love Yang Tianqing at all. He was forced by the environment to reach that point, and this environment is feudal ethics. Yang Tianqing is a cowardly and selfish person. If he abandons the family property and walks with Judou, maybe no one can stop it, but he dare not. Yang Jinshan was deeply poisoned by the "patriarchal" feudal ideology. He was so ecstatic that someone else's son called him daddy was really "perverted", and finally died in the hands of that child. In the end, the family was killed by the child. Here is a metaphor: the products of feudal thought are also freaks, which will poison generation after generation.
