Looking at it, I suddenly felt: This is a foreigner's martial arts novel. If you think about it, it’s really similar, a group of people who don’t know each other and have different identities (of course, there must be a few who are related, couples, brothers and sisters), because accidental events lead to an unknown and invisible fear. Wherever, the protagonist is naturally possessed of supernatural powers. The crisis is both external and internal. In the face of crisis, everyone has their own performance, everyone has their own legendary story, etc., etc. Isn't it reminiscent of novels by Jin Yong or someone else? Especially for Jin Yong's, there are often a large number of experts from all walks of life gathering together, and mysteries appear constantly, solving one after another.
So my conclusion is that this is a good series, but it is only good, not as good as Nip/Tuck which I like.
