John Williams used a lot of chorus in this film's soundtrack, and the overall soundtrack is tragic and powerful. In the scene where Anakin's lover gave up the will to live, and he rose up again as Darth Vader, a requiem-like harmony is not only a farewell to his lover, but also a farewell to Anakin's identity.
