Three men on the same stage

The most awesome police movie I've ever seen, I can't add more worship! ! ! What is reversal? What is a distinct character? What is truth? This film undoubtedly beats all other police and gangster movies in my mind (well, I actually watched less), and I think there is almost no possibility of surpassing it. When Isli asked Vincennes: Do you remember why you were a policeman? Vincenston replied after a pause: I don't remember anymore. He immediately promised to help Isli to do a big vote, even if it would pay a huge price (in the end, Vincennes's price was life). But Vincens's expression at the time, and his immediate actions, which point shows that he forgot why he became a policeman in the first place? In my opinion, Vincennes just lost his way. From a policeman with a noble ideal of justice to a "star" policeman who earns money from low-level tricks, Vincennes faced Isli’s requests and questions. Faced with his trampling on his former ideals, Yan had to say that he had forgotten. The expression of Vincennes at that moment is really meaningful, and the acting skills of East Asia and White are also revealed everywhere. The three men on the same stage made me so happy in the audience.

Classes will start in seven hours, so let's stop for now. If you are interested in the future, I will fill in this film review.

L.A. Confidential quotes

  • Bud White: Pierce Patchett?

Lynn Bracken: He takes a cut of our earnings and invests it for us. He doesn't let us use narcotics and he doesn't abuse us. Can your policeman's mentality grasp those contradictions?

Bud White: He had you cut to look like Veronica Lake.

Lynn Bracken: No. I'm really a brunette, but the rest is me.

  • Ed Exley: I want D.A. bureau men to tail Dudley Smith and Pierce Patchett 24 hours a day. I want you to get a judge to authorize wiretaps on their home phones, and I want authorization to check their bank records.

    Ellis Loew: On what evidence?

Bud White: Call it a hunch.
