"Midnight Rumba of the Smiths"

Rewatched "Smiths" repeatedly these days. Even though I have watched many movies in 2005, I will never tire of my favorite movies. As a movie criticized for nothing, its box office success is attributed to the two protagonists' scandals that are more exciting than the plot. Of course, until today in 2008, their relationship has settled in more scandals. Having three biological babies and a happy family is definitely not inferior to the life of the movie knives and guns.

Angelina Jolie is the first Hollywood actress I like. Originally, I have a peculiar complex for thick lips, which even I think of KUSO. But I like Jolie not only because she has the lips, which are known as the sexiest lips, but also because of her character and temperament. That is subverting the wildness of traditional tender beauties, without undressing, and making every effort to kill, sexy. Brad Pitt is also known as "the sexiest in the world" like Jolie. The combination of handsome men and beautiful women has occupied the mainstream for thousands of years. I met Brad Pitt in "The Seven Deadly Sins". There is actually no impression about this movie. After all, it is a movie more than ten years ago, but I keep in mind this man. I only think this man is good-looking. Later, I almost forgot the movie star, let alone his marriage history (including him and the earlier period of love that was hailed as a Hollywood fairy tale). Until their "Smiths", it hasn't been released yet, it has made my eyes shine, and I am looking forward to it.

There is an excellent episode that runs through the whole movie, and it became popular. That is the rumba song "MondoBongo" that Jane and John danced when they first met. The singer was Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros. Mondo Bongo is actually Colombia’s ancient aboriginal music (Spanish is the language of Colombia), and it really means "unrestrained and wild".

Their beginning is indeed unrestrained and wild. They fell in love at first sight, charming and lingering, and soon decided to become a couple in love with each other for life. But the unrestrained wildness cannot last for long. As time passes, the passion recedes, and the feeling of the grave of love finally comes out.

Jane's strength can be seen everywhere, for example, in the curtain incident, John said: Okay, change it, I don't like it. Jane raised an eyebrow and said: You will get used to it. In the slightest, when they went to work in the morning, the two cars almost collided with each other. In the end, it was Jane who took the lead. For another example, when both sides knew that the other party was a hostile killer, John misunderstood that Jane was a conspiracy and a plan from the beginning. Jane did not explain, but said, "You are the most handsome target I have ever seen." Later, we learned that Jane’s parents died at the age of 5. The movie did not explain Jane’s growth, but we can imagine growing from a little girl with both parents to the number one killer of an organization. The ordeal may be inhumane and tragic. , Jane must be strong, and being strong is also a means to protect herself.

And John, in the first act of the movie, he said, I love her very much, and I hope she is happy. As a husband, John plays a gentle and elegant traditional husband. He loves his wife, but because of the secrets he can’t tell, the distance between the husband and wife is getting bigger and bigger. He confesses that he "I like..." or "I don't Like..." Although his wife has always been strong, he still loves her deeply. Until later, when he learned that his wife was the enemy, he was incredibly flustered and mistakenly believed that his wife could kill him cruelly. He still couldn't kill his lover under the order to kill him.

"MondoBongo" made a turning point in the middle. It was Jane's mistake that caused the bomb to explode, and Jane thought John was killed. And John thought it was Jane who could really kill him cruelly, and he was heartbroken. In the restaurant where she proposed to marry him, Jane wept alone, and John appeared, but he was no longer a caring husband everywhere. The two danced again after verbal targeting. The same dance music, wild and enthusiastic 5 or 6 years ago, 5 or 6 years later, the two have a ghost in their hearts, each carrying their own thoughts, and they are suspicious of each other, but they are smiling and looking at each other affectionately, enjoying the gentleness before the conflict.

After the two confessed their past and no secrets, they decided to stay and face this problem together. I think the movie itself has no meaning, it is purely a commercial movie. But this movie is especially suitable for modern young men and women to watch. If there are secrets between husband and wife, if they cannot be frank with each other, no matter how affectionate they are, marriage will eventually become a tomb. This may be a sign of "Smiths" as an entertainment film. Or maybe it's just my superficial view.

Watching handsome men and beautiful women acting is romantic enough in itself, and the two are my favorite movie stars, so it's even more perfect. "MondoBongo" put an end to the movie, and probably became an echo of the past? This song is very suitable for the love of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and it has become the love symbol of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".

After reading the Yangliu review, I found out that it was confiscated. Well, I wish you two hundred years.

The teaching content of the film music appreciation class... I have to say that Pitt is forgiven for abandoning his ex-wife for Jolie. The reason why human beings believe in love at first sight is because God always creates so few stunners to envy others.

John Smith: [over the Bluetooth headset phone] Well, you are still Mrs. Smith.
