A Man of Integrity

This TV series made me know how America get involved in foreign affairs. Two DEA police are free to wander in the street full of danger, because narcos are afraid of American military and daren't hurt them. It reminds me of the scene in Zhanlang that the leading actor holds our national flag high when passing by a district conquered by rebel forces, then they are safe and sound because those rebels fear Chinese armies and daren't attack Chinese. There is no wonder that people say you will be patriotic when you are abroad.

In this TV series, what impressed me most is the colonel. Because he should have been better off if he took the deal. But instead, he chooses to risk his life, which seems like a stupid choice for the reason that he can not get anything from fighting against those narcos besides respect from those victims' family.

The president needs political achievements, but what can the colonel get from this case? It comes to mind that in fact, narcostic police are all great and selfless, because their job will cause them lots of trouble. Even they will have difficulty with marrage, because who wants to marry a man that may bring her to death?

It is them who make great scarifices to our clean country.

As for Pablo, although he is depicted as a family man, he still can not arouse my sympathy for him and his family. He kills lots of innocent people, but his wife and mother claim it is for some reason. People who put their lives beyong those of others are not worthy of sympathy and respect, no matter how well they behave towards their family.

The directors adopt an objective method to narrate this story and show us not all bad guys behave bad in every aspect of life. But we must clearly know that it is not enough to redeem their evilness.

In a word, we should try to be a man of integrity. If you can't, at least you must respect them and hate villains.
