As a Cthulhu mythology lover, seeing the tentacles in the poster, I knew that this movie is not easy
It's a pity that there is a gram frame, and the plot is barely crammed into it.
I think some people say that they are discussing the derogatory relationship between people and religion... Religion is almost an essential element of a grammatical story, maybe the screenwriter really didn't think so deeply
Whether it is the doctor's idea of resurrecting his daughter, or the setting that unknown creatures were born through the human body, they are all too shallow.
Even the "indescribable" of the gram is only expressed through the mouth of the characters - people who join the cult will gradually become evil/monster-like
And the doctor saw the universe at the moment when it was about to dissipate... I was? ? ? You have been talking about you wanting to save your daughter, and now you are talking about the universe, who are you lying to? ? ?
Only the huge black triangle in the other world at the end reminds me of the pitch-black mountains that are as sharp as knives in "Crazy Mountains"
Don't say it's an art film... If the director really wanted to make it into an art film, he wouldn't put so much messy content in it that didn't make any sense for the plot.
If you have to say what this movie is discussing, it is nothing more than what the Cthulhu mythology itself mentioned-if people want to gain power that does not belong to themselves, if they want to become gods, they will only end up devoured by the true god
