An absolutely underrated post-apocalyptic zombie series.

4 stars is worth it, and 5 stars is to raise the score of this film. Believe my current score of 5.3 is definitely too low. The main reason for the low score is the audience's acceptance and habitual thinking, how should the zombie movie develop the plot, and the fire of The Walking Dead makes everyone think that there is only such a form of characterization and expression. Actual Black Summer has created another form of doomsday-themed film at a very low cost, natural and detailed. The audience is more like a stranger who has just joined the escape team, experiencing the despair and tension of the apocalypse from various angles. The perspective is rich and not monotonous, a little spoiler, and even use the perspective of zombies. There is not so much chatter, emotional foreshadowing, and all actions and stories are believable. I am an aficionado of zombie apocalypse movies. I have watched many movies of the same type, and I can tell you responsibly that the plot progression of Hei Xia is very unique, and there are many surprises. Those metaphorical subtitles and fragmented narrative methods make the film more unique. In my opinion, it is a very advanced form of expression. And the plot is tense and exciting, and it doesn't feel boring to chase after 8 episodes together. Having said so many advantages, I just hope that everyone will not delay a unique doomsday drama just by watching the scores. Finally, I have to talk about the shortcomings. The production cost is limited, and the big scenes and sets inside are a bit worse. I think it would be even more exciting if there were more funds. Looking forward to the second season, if there is one.
