The paradise you enter with desire is not called paradise

Dystopian theme. The novel is better than the movie, and it is also much darker and crueler. The story and state of mind of the previous generation of backpackers, I think the same applies to today's backpackers. Why travel? Exotic, exciting, novel, different... We more or less hope to meet stories on the road, so we don't want to take the route of the public, want to stay away from noise and business, and find the so-called paradise. However, the price of heaven is also huge. Desire is desire, no matter where you go. Every time you finish the novel and then watch the movie, you will always be picky about the movie, so you may have to try it in a different order next time.

When I read it, it was too small. At the time, it felt like a composition with off-topic writing, but I can read it again. However, I suddenly felt that from the movie's poster, this movie should not be good-looking. The poster has nothing to do with the movie at all...only the side of the handsome guy.

The teenager's journey to find Utopia is unfortunately broken. A group of people are far away from the bustling and noisy city and live on the island happily. But no matter how far away it is, it cannot stand the test of time, and it is the embodiment of human nature. ★★★☆

The Beach quotes

  • Richard: I told myself spreading news was part of a traveller's nature, but if I was being completely honest, I was just like everybody else: shit-scared of the great unknown. Desperate to take a little piece of home with me.

  • Richard: When you develop an infatuation for someone you always find a reason to believe that this is exactly the person for you. It doesn't need to be a good reason. Taking photographs of the night sky, for example. Now, in the long run, that's just the kind of dumb, irritating habit that would cause you to split up. But in the haze of infatuation, it's just what you've been searching for all these years.
