Movies with similar themes are not the first, not the most prominent

I bought the Canadian/Spanish movie "My Life Without Me" (Ma vie sans moi/Mi vida sin mí /2003) DVD in BC a while ago, and finally watched it last night. As soon as I saw the title, I knew it was a tragedy, tell people I bought this disc, and my reaction is: watch this movie too? It's too sad. The

movie is adapted from Nanci Kincaid's novel "Pretending the Bed is a Raft" (amazon.com). Treating the bed as a wooden raft is a film The heroine likes to play games with her two daughters. The

story is roughly about a twenty-three-year-old woman, Ann (Sarah Polley), who learns one day that she is terminally ill and will die soon. Mother, even listed ten Things To Do Before I Die. The film is about how she completes these ten dying missions.

In fact, two similar movies have been thought of: "My Life" (1993) and "Time To" Leave" (The Last Time/2005). I don't want to compare the three films. But I can't say "My Life Without Me" is the most prominent. The director is Isabel Coixet from Spain, the previous film is "Paris, je t'aime" (I Love Paris / 2006) "Bastille" (wife is sick). I don't know the original director Pedro Almodóvar (Ai Mu Duhua) is one of the supervisors without seeing the credits at the end of the film. The

photography is most worthy of appreciation. The director of Photography is Jean -Claude Larrieu, "Paris, je t'aime" also collaborated with Isabel Coixet. Many shots are impressive.I like the pink and red beaded curtains in the mobile home where Ann and her family live in the movie. They appear in the movie many times, creating a sad and warm atmosphere. The director has used slow motion many times, although the technique is not particularly fresh, but the effect is good .

The music also stands out. Theme song is one of the reasons why people want to buy an OST. The scene at the supermarket is also very impressive, and the music and photography make the movie more appealing.

Ten things to do before you die. Ann hopes to make someone fall in love with me and make love with other men to see what it's like. Because her husband is the lover she knew and fell in love with when she was seventeen Let's think about it. In the film, Ann really found such a man (Lee played by Mark Ruffalo) to be crazy about her. Although the theme of the film is sad, in fact, Ann's ten wishes have been fulfilled one by one, which can be said to be too perfect to be meaningless.

Sarah Polley's acting skills are once again impressive (in fact, this time I bought this album because of her), and I have seen her perform many times: Atom Egoyan's "Exotica" (1994) and "The Sweet Hereafter" (1997), "The Claim" (2000), Wim Wenders' "Don't Come Knocking" (2005), the characters are very prominent, and she acts with a slightly sad look in her eyes. The most prominent believe must be in the hospital when she learned that she had terminal cancer. Acting. Eyes and facial expressions are full of scenes.

Scott Speedman, who plays Ann's husband Don, has a handsome face, and many close-ups have given him the opportunity to play. Mark Ruffalo is also quite satisfactory. It is

not as exciting as expected, but it is worth watching Look.
