The gospel for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder

The fresh and bright colors are like fairy tales, revealing the beauty of retro and exquisiteness-this is my first impression of "Moonrise Kingdom". Bright colors, retro tones, and descriptions of magical realism were written by director Wes Anderson. This is a typical Wes Anderson style, extreme and stubborn.

Wes Anderson is good at using tones and loves high-contrast, high-bright colors, balanced and symmetrical, paying attention to all details. He stubbornly fills his film works with all his personal tastes and hobbies. This is true of "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and so is "Moonrise Kingdom".

The background of the film is the summer of 1965, on the coast of New England, a pair of 12-year-old children fell in love, secretly got engaged, and then eloped. The plot is humorous and absurd, but there are traces to follow. Sam and Susie are lonely and lack the care of their families. When these two people of the same age who have similar experiences met, a series of stories happened.

These two children, who were ignored by adults, had only each other in their escape years. They took an adventure along the way, and teenagers have a kind of bravery that adults have lost. The peaceful island town presents a grand childhood adventure accompanied by young first love.

The emotions between children of this age are natural and pure, and their love at first sight is also based on the mutual sympathy of "the same people who fall into the world".

This film inevitably reminds me of "Hunting the Barbarians". Although the two films have different intentions, they both give me warmth. In many cases, the decisions made by children are more resolute and powerful than adults.

"Yuesheng Kingdom" is a pure land on earth, a serious and lovely fairy tale.
