Nan'an Knife, the 801st hero of "Yao Bai"

Abdullah 2022-03-10 08:02:14

"Eight Hundred", two knives, one Chen Shusheng and one knife.

One was a soldier, strapped full of grenades, jumped into the Japanese steel plate, and blasted the little devils into pieces.

A letter in blood: sacrifice one's life for righteousness, what a child wishes!

This knife cuts out the pain in my heart!

One is a gangster, "Hujiangtang, junior, petition with a knife! Willing to give it a try!"

The knife slashed his thumb, pressed the red handprint and ran to the bridge, without turning back when he was shot. This run, there is no return, lying in a pool of blood.

This knife, the blade is shining.

The former one is the eight hundred warriors of the North Shore, the latter one is not.

The latter is a prodigal son on the South Bank, a thug from the Chamber of Commerce, a gangster, and a casino watcher.

Even so, once woken up, this knife will kill immediately when it is unsheathed, and it will be invincible.

The first director found Li Jiuxiao , the prodigal son of the South Bank .

Graduated from Nortel's Performance Department, and acted in "Remember the Song of the Teenager", "Hot Pot Hero" and "Send Me to the Blue Sky".

This time, "Eight Hundred" knife .

Li Jiuxiao

Talking about the knife of "Eight Hundred", at the end, there are only four words, affectionate and righteous!

01. Join the group: Guan Hu took me to the four-line warehouse with his long legs

First Director: How did you get the role of "Yao Bai" Knife?

Li Jiuxiao: I am especially grateful to Sister Liang Jing, the producer of "Eight Hundred". I didn't go to the audition at that time, nor did I see the director. It was Sister Liang Jing who discovered me and recommended me to Director Guan Hu. It happened that the role of the knife was vacant, so I went to play the knife.

I met Director Guan Hu once in the middle. At that time (December 2017) I was filming "Send Me to the Blue Sky", and I was filming with Mr. Yao Chen in Guizhou. I took a leave of absence and went to Shanghai, and I met Director Guan Hu the next day.

He was busy with other work on set, because at that time the North Shore was almost killed, and the South Shore was about to be shot. He worked there. After I went there, I saw that he was very busy. I didn't say anything, just observed him and felt that he was very tall. He was really like a big tiger . He also wore a pair of glasses, and sometimes glasses It's fun to hang on my head.

After he finished his work, he suddenly saw me and said Jiuxiao, you are here, have you seen this warehouse? I said I haven't seen it yet, but before I came to see you, I went to the Sihang Warehouse in the morning, the real Sihang Warehouse.

Brother Hu took me to the scene and walked around the warehouse. His steps were big and his legs were long. I trotted behind to watch .

First Director: You told me before that Director Guan Hu built a castle, you are a knight, and this is the whole process of acting as a knife.

Li Jiuxiao: Why do I say Director Guan Hu built a castle? He built a castle like an architect, or built a castle like a dream maker, and then threw me in and said you were a knight , I believe it .

Brother Hu took me around the Sixing Warehouse, and I could feel the set, layout, and the entire staff of the Sixing Warehouse. Because there were still some staff cleaning the warehouse at that time, they were all wearing military uniforms, their eyes and their temperament made me feel very sincere and real.

First Director: How did you come up with the role of Knife?

Li Jiuxiao: Let me show you something.

This is the source of the gesture I made to Sister Rong, Paige Culture . (The Pao Gehui was a popular gang organization in Sichuan during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, including present-day Chongqing and other places)

Al Pacino is a photo I always look at when I'm filming, and I think it's very elegant . I hope that the knife has elegance in it. Although the knife is a gangster, he doesn't think so. He must think that he is more elegant and has more face.

"Demons" and "Man on a Mission" are songs I always listen to when I play Knife. "Dangerous" was the song I listened to the two days I ran the bridge.

Director Guan Hu built a castle and threw me into it, saying that you are a knight, and these biography, information, pictures, and songs are my pots and pans .

02. Start shooting: I stand there peeling apples, I don't even know where the camera is

First Director: After filming on the North Shore, what was your first scene on the South Shore?

Li Jiuxiao: My first filming of Nan'an was before the Chinese New Year. It should have been the first scene of Daozi after filming "Send Me to the Clouds". The first scene was the rain scene, because we shot along the set. I remember a scene where I pointed a knife at Lao Hulu. That was my first scene.

The first scene was shot overnight, and it was raining all night, and it was raining all the time in winter, and there were a lot of people. After filming, Director Guan Hu asked me how I felt? I said it felt so good, I didn't even know where the camera was , I couldn't see the camera.

I think this can make the actor have a good sense of substitution. It is equivalent to helping me with a desk job. It seems that it is not that important to the role of Daozi, or that it is not so helpful. Characters are still very helpful.

He made me believe that I was in that era, and I think this is the most important thing, because we are still modern people, and what kind of people in that era can’t be imagined by just relying on their brains, only you can go for it yourself. know what it's like.

I guess it would be hard to understand. It was the scene where I was standing there cutting apples. The south bank was full of traffic, and one street, two streets, and three streets were brightly lit. It was the temperament of that era, and it was macroscopic.

Microscopically, whether the extras are civilians, officers or businessmen, including those from our chamber of commerce, the clothes, makeup, and costumes they wear, as well as the props they hold in their hands. They are all very particular, they are all worn, the shoes are also worn, and the mud dots on the shoes are all worn .

The crutches they hold, the carts they push, and the ones they sell are all real, steamed buns, snacks, and cigarettes... Including the fact that I don't always smoke a cigarette , that cigarette is actually a small cigarette case that sells cigarettes next to it. There are all kinds of cigarettes from that era in it. I took a pack and thought it was pretty good. The props gave me a lighter, and I lit it like that, which I felt very dreamy.

You can also see the child holding a small pet, a rabbit, and a sheep led by a peasant who entered the city. The sheep is also alive, including a banner man next to Mr. Huang Zhizhong. I observed that it should be considered a banner man. , He was holding a bird cage in his hand, and the bird inside was real.

He can make a big panorama so detailed. The recipes on the menu in the coffee shop are all from that era, including all kinds of coffee.

For a modern person like me, and an actor who joined the group halfway, this was a very big stimulus, and it made me believe in that era. First of all, after you believe that you are a person of that era, everything that follows will come naturally.

First Director: Didn't you see the North Shore drama?

Li Jiuxiao: Yes. When I watch North Shore a lot of times, I don’t imagine how they fought in my head. Didn’t the filming finish before? Director Guan Hu will show me the previous material, how to fight, this fight, that fight, including jumping into the warehouse, putting The poisonous gas, they all showed us the material.

03. Bridge running: I fell seven times on the first day, eight times on the second day, and the scabbed wounds were all broken

The first director: Your highlight is running the bridge. How many scenes did you play in that scene? How did it go?

Li Jiuxiao: I remember performing for two days. The first day was rehearsal. The rehearsal was also quite funny. I didn’t know it was a rehearsal. On the first day, I was told to run. I was fully armed, including mentally. I drank two cans of Red Bull and went to run .

I fell, crawled, and fought seven times. Finally, I heard the walkie-talkie say OK. I felt like I was finally finished.

Director Guan Hu and the others came over. If they wanted to leave the park, they had to pass the bridge. When they passed the bridge, he saw me sitting on the ground. I forgot what I wanted to say. I wanted to express my thoughts. It was too difficult. Director Guan Hu said to me closely, saying that today's acting is not bad, and I will do my best tomorrow.

As soon as I heard it, my head got bigger. At that time, my hands were all torn . When I went back to take a bath, I looked at my scars and thought about what to do tomorrow, because they were all scabbed.

The next day I drank a lot of bottles of Red Bull, and then went for a run. I ran 8, but the scabs were all broken, the old wounds were all rubbed, and new wounds came out a lot .

The first 6 of them were because my face was too clean. I asked the makeup teacher if I could make my face dirty a bit, but the makeup teacher was also responsible for the job. He said that my face was pretty clean before, so why did I get dirty when I ran across the bridge? I suddenly thought about it.

What to do then? I can only rub my face on the ground. I thought about it for a while. I said let’s do it, and I’ll give it up. It’s really a fight. Actors just rely on their faces to eat.

Didn't I fall on the ground in Article 7? When I was crawling forward, I rubbed my face on the ground .

After filming, I listened to the walkie-talkie over there saying this is good, this is good, this face is good, and Director Guan Hu said that this face is finally dirty.

I had a feeling at the time that there seemed to be an inexplicable communication with Director Guan Hu, that kind of tacit understanding. Because I was wondering if my face was too clean at the time. I took 6 shots and I didn't pass it. In the end, when my face was dirty, he felt very good and passed. You also know that usually after the filming is over, the director will guarantee another one, and basically it will come again.

I was so excited after the shoot was over. After I finished filming the bridge, I was relieved because I knew that was the most important scene.

I was lying in a pool of artificial blood, and after it rained, wasn't there a small ditch on the ground? I looked at the small ditch like a mirror reflecting the four-row warehouse and the sky.

I was lying there at the time, I had to die, I couldn't move after I died, and I didn't call the card over there, so I couldn't move, I just stared at the small water ditch with empty eyes. , At that moment, I felt that I was worthy of the strong man of the knife, worthy of my role, and that was the feeling.

04. Identity: Sister Rong treats me as her son

First Director: In your play with Sister Rong, you worshipped a portrait of an officer. Who is that portrait?

Li Jiuxiao: That portrait is actually the son of Sister Rong. He was also a soldier and died in battle.

The image of her son as a soldier is very respected in Daozi's heart. With this foreshadowing, Daozi will be infected by the opposite national army and will be willing to sacrifice his own life. I think this is a particularly good foreshadowing.

That portrait standing there also shows a relationship between me and Sister Rong. Sister Rong runs a casino, and I am the younger brother who helps her manage the casino. After I went to die, there was a scene where Sister Rong turned to her side, and she was very sad, sad, and regretful. I think that scene would actually reveal a message that Sister Rong took the knife as her son .

You can see that Sister Rong plays a native of Chongqing, and Daozi is also a native of Chongqing. Her son sacrificed first. It is possible that after her son sacrificed, Daoist entered her life. Although we usually have a working relationship, in life, she will also throw a knife from time to time. As my own child, I think so.

First Director: When you said goodbye to Sister Rong, the bus took you away. After that, you did everything in one go, throwing clothes, tying your hair, pressing your fingerprints, and running the bridge.

Li Jiuxiao: You said this, I remembered something. I said goodbye to Sister Rong that day. I had a little improvisation, and it was also a design. I don’t know, I just experienced it myself.

In my relationship with Sister Rong, I feel that saying goodbye at this time is like saying goodbye to my relatives, not like saying goodbye to my eldest sister, or saying goodbye to my boss or leader. When I say goodbye to my relatives, I want to say goodbye with a smile . Everyone has been asking, why am I smiling at Sister Rong?

I just want to tell Sister Rong, don't worry, I will definitely be back when I go. Although I called her sister, Daozi already regarded her as his family member in his heart. Don't worry, I'll be back for sure, I'm running fast, don't worry, I'm leaving. Then I won't let her see me again as soon as the car comes, which means you don't see me for now, I'll be back in a while, that's what it means.

First Director: In addition to Sister Rong, Daozi and Yang Huimin have a lot of scenes, although there is no verbal communication.

Li Jiuxiao: At first, Yang Huimin looked down on people like Daozi. You are so arrogant and fierce, why don't you fight against Japan? Look at the person on the other side, what are you pulling here?

Daozi actually doesn't look down on Yang Huimin, and thinks that she is very pretentious, what is she pretending to be? Anyway , the two of them didn't like each other at first .

With the occurrence of events and the passage of time, the two of them see each other and react differently to events, and they are also stimulating each other, and finally the two grow together under the influence of each other.

Isn't it the same on the North Shore? The North Shore is also a deserter and a real German artisan who stimulates each other and grows with each other.

The same is true for Nan'an. Nan'an is also where people like Yang Huimin and I stimulate each other, including the role played by Sister Liang Jing and her husband, who also stimulate each other.

First Director: Yao Chen played He Xiangning. Did you meet on the set?

Li Jiuxiao: Sister Yao Chen and I have no rivals, but we finished on the same day, and when she finished, I did too. When the two of us met, I said, Sister Dayao, I was waiting for you to come over to finish the project, and we finished it together.

05. Jianghu: Guan Hu and Ye Jingjing are affectionate and righteous people

First Director: You played Ye Jing's "Remember That Song of a Boy" before, and this time you played "Yao Bai", what kind of people do you think Ye Jing and Guan Hu are?

Li Jiuxiao: First of all, both of them are directors who are very harsh on their own works.

Actors are also part of the director's work, so it will definitely be more harsh on us.

Director Ye Jing will have more control over the actors, and he will tell you what to do. Director Guan Hu will have less control over the actors, and he will give you some space.

Of course, I think it may be because I was too young and too young when I participated in the filming of Ye Jing's film. I didn't know what to do, and I couldn't even tell the difference between close-up and medium-range shots, so he often taught you hands-on.

Director Guan Hu trusts you more, trusts you, and asks you to let your imagination run wild, and then he will accept it again, that is, he will tune you again.

To put it simply, Director Ye Jing first tunes you, and then lets you release it, and Director Guan Hu first lets you release it, and then takes it back. This is the difference between them.

What they have in common is that they are very rigorous about their works, and the second is that they are both very sentimental people. I think this is also one of the conditions for becoming a great director, that is, it must be emotional .

Not only do you have feelings for movies, but I think movies and people are inseparable. You are affectionate and righteous to everyone, and you will also be affectionate and righteous to your work .

It is possible that you see a person who is very affectionate and righteous to you, especially affectionate, especially affectionate, and suddenly after another two years, you see that he does not seem to be so affectionate and righteous towards his work, I think his previous attitude towards you It may have been installed that day.

If he is really a person who is affectionate and righteous, he must be affectionate and righteous to everyone , his work, his career, and his love. I think this is consistent, inseparable.

Top right, Li Jiuxiao

The first director: "Remember the song of the boy" has been under pressure for many years.

Li Jiuxiao: I really want to know if it can still be on. "Remember the boy's song" has almost become the title of the film for me. Remember the boy's song, do you know what I mean?

First Director: Understood.

Li Jiuxiao: It is also a feeling. I think I am very lucky, that is, most of the works I have encountered are that the director created a dream for me, and asked me to walk in the dream , so that when I suddenly woke up one day, when I thought about this dream, I felt very sad. Happy, and special thanks to these directors.

06. Easter Egg: A Little Biography of the Knife (written by Li Jiuxiao himself)

I, Li Fei, was born in Bashu in 1909, the first year of Xuantong, and belongs to the year of Rooster. The father is a carpenter, and the eldest brother is 5 years older, and he lives by inheriting the craftsmanship.

In the 17th year of the Republic of China, when I was 16 years old, I went to Shanghai to work hard to see the world. When I first arrived, the streets and alleys seemed "very lively" compared to my hometown, but everyone's expressions were serious and nervous, and the leaflets all over the floor were written with the words "Down with imperialism". , I asked the students and passersby to know that it was a Japanese spinning mill worker who was beaten to death. I think the workers might be unruly, but the Japanese are really disgusting!

In the 19th year of the Republic of China, two years later, I am no longer unfamiliar with Shanghai's busy traffic, with dreams and high spirits in my heart! But relying on the job of transporting the dockers alone will be the second "Gu Zhenghong" sooner or later, not to mention returning home! Fortunately, God gave me a pair of precious legs, and with the spirit of hard work, I was quickly picked up by the Chamber of Commerce and joined smoothly.

In the twenty-sixth year of the Republic of China, in Shanghai, the first-class people had the ability but lacked a temper; the second-class people had the ability but had a temper; the last-class people had no ability but had a big temper. I belong to the second class. Mr. Lu of the Chamber of Commerce often said that "the way of life is in honesty"! My way of doing things is also "the money is used up, the friendship is not enough". It took only 7 years from the age of 16 to working hard to become a disciple of the thirteenth hall of the 24th generation of Juezi. In the rivers and lakes, he was named "knife", and he acted as loyally and bravely as a knife, steady and ruthless! Big brother relieves the disaster for me, I work hard for my big brother!

Regarding the Sino-Japanese war in the Sixing Warehouse, I don't think the sky is about to fall. It's incredible. They still have to fart to eat! As long as it doesn't interfere with the territory of our Chamber of Commerce, I have to do what I need to do, and do what I shouldn't think about. For example, I worry about Sister Rong and her casino.

But the North Bank is fighting, and more and more refugees are deflated on the South Bank, which is one of the reasons why I dislike the Japanese! What really made me want to fight with them is when they actually set up a boat to land on the leased land and bullied them to the door! Gotta beat to death! Having said that, the North Shore defenders have a kind, I admire! Sister Rong's son is a soldier, which I admire too!

The role of the knife, as the name suggests, has two sides, good and bad. It can be used to cut fruit or kill people to pay for their lives. In his world, there is no concept of country, only the belief of the big brother and the thought of the small family. It can be said that he is a knife in the chamber of commerce. He may have stabbed countless good people, but in the end, the one who stabbed to death was a heinous desperado...
