finishing touch

I have seen comments saying that the last few episodes of this show collapsed. In fact, it is due to the gap caused by some psychological expectations, especially the climax of the previous tank battles, which is easy for the audience to mistakenly think that this is a description of the Yom Kippur War. The war mini-series played by the so-called war is real, bloody and adrenaline, similar to Spielberg's "Band of Brothers", so I was disappointed, in fact, it was on the wrong set. I recommend this kind of audience to go out and watch a similar recent popular war movie "Blood Battle for Mosul" should be satisfied.

The show is about war on the surface, but it's actually throwing all kinds of people, veterans, recruits, civilians, anti-government elements, writers, and even enemy soldiers and officers, into the context of this war and depicting them Diligently pursue the most basic needs of human nature, that is, to live, or to protect one's most loved one. The ending of the show seems a bit bland and anti-climax, but it is actually the finishing touch of the whole show. The Israeli army's counterattack and victory were only lightly skipped through the commander's speech. No matter how enthusiastic the words were, they could not get a response from the empty and tired eyes of the tank soldiers, while the writer watched his son's name written on the dead person registration whiteboard. On, in despair, he drove away from the battlefield. The boundless hope that set out on the journey to find relatives, the courage and perseverance that never gave up, and the joy of a miraculous chance encounter, were finally disillusioned into nothingness.

After the end credits, there is actually a second ending, which is even more meaningful. Years later, the deceased son walked the streets of what is now, surrounded by rabbis of Judaism. He walked into a room full of believers who were studying the scriptures, including the old father, who was already gray-haired. He was no longer a star writer, but a believer in the poor scriptures. The old father looked up at his son. Although he was still wearing the bloodstained military uniform of the time of his death, he was still young and handsome. The father and son smiled at each other, the son turned and left, and the father buried his head in the scriptures again.

This encounter came from the faith of the old father. Originally, his worldly and godless concept may not be able to bear the pain of his son's departure. Only with the power of faith can he provide spiritual comfort and face life and death calmly, while the son is in his heart. The image of him will always be fixed at the moment of his departure.

P.S.: When the play came to an abrupt end, it did not explain the fate of several captured soldiers. However, in the end credits, there was a historical scene of the reunion of prisoners and their families, which also implied the safety of these protagonists. Strands of warm color.

It's still a bit of a drag...I want to learn more about the real history. After all, seeing the tank battle, how can Israel fight? The other side can't hit it. Several tanks overturned hundreds of Syrian tanks, which is still too surprising.

It's good-looking, but in the short comment, why don't you know the history of the Middle East war and say that this is a divine drama, and the ignorant are fearless. If there is something wrong with this show, it is suspected to use the modern Hollywood style to describe the mental state of Israeli soldiers in 1974.
