The feeling of watching the play seems to be far away

This show is the most depressing work I've seen recently. Many times the lights are dim, and when I look at it during the day when the light is strong, I can find that my big face is clearly reflected on the ipad screen, so I can only watch the development of the plot laboriously, which once made me doubt my life.

Mrs. Waterford is a three-dimensional and attractive character. You can feel her elegance just from her appearance. You can see her cruelty and her fragility as the story develops. Her face-changing skills are a must. In contrast, Mr Waterford is the character I hate the most in the whole show. He is extremely hypocritical, strong on the outside and dry in the middle. He wears the cloak of power. He looks powerful, but he is actually just a coward. It is most obvious in the last episode. I couldn't help but scold F word.

I can often see June's fear and vulnerability, which makes me feel that she is a vulnerable person, but at the same time her sense of resistance makes her invincible. It's better to watch Nick and June have sex than to watch June and Luke, because there's a sense of rebellion in it, so it looks more comfortable.

I couldn't help but wonder who would be in the show if I lived in it? Probably some sort of Janine, or worse, because I'm afraid of violent scenes and I want to live, and I'm afraid I'm one of the most submissive people, sadly.

In general, I would see this story and 1984 as contemporaneous, because it's hard to see the shadow of technology, making it hard for me to believe it's happening now or in the future. But it also made me feel that the story was so close to us, as if we were going one step further and we would enter its world.
