different day of war

Love movie poster design. I have seen a lot of World War II movies. When I was a child, it was mostly the Japanese war of aggression against China. Now, it is more of the European war and the Pacific War from the perspective of the US military. Due to the gap in cultural soft power, people often forget that this is a world war. Many countries in continental Europe and many countries in Southeast Asia and Africa are participating in the same war with China and the United States.

Set against the backdrop of the Nazi invasion of Denmark, the film tells the story of a war that lasted less than a day. Watching war movies from the perspective of great powers, most of them embody national feelings from the front or side, and fight for the country and justice. However, Denmark, as a small country bordering Germany, although it had been preparing for war before, chose not to deploy in advance for fear of angering the German army that was gradually approaching the border before the war. When the poorly equipped Danish soldiers retreated and hid in the forest hut, the hostess said that she didn't care whether the land was Denmark or Germany, which made no difference to her. When the young Danish soldier lost his life in defense, the king had already declared his surrender on behalf of the country early. I thought it would be a bloody scene to drive a chariot to invade his country, but in fact it was a peaceful scene and even the excited cheers of Danish children. There are many unimaginable scenes in this film. It turns out that wars have completely different scenarios in different countries. For Denmark, without the so-called strong national feelings, surrender may not be such a shameful thing, after all, ordinary people just want to survive.

The approach of a responsible government is to surrender quickly, and don't let the people die

From another perspective, the king of Denmark surrendered for the sake of the people in World War II. The Danish people understand that there are fewer dead people.
