It turns out that somewhere over the rainbow is the theme song of the Wizard of Oz, so good. It turns out that the kingdom on the rainbow is the kingdom of Oz. In the early stage, Dorothy's opposition to the environment was mainly presented on the farm. Everyone did not understand Dorothy's panic that Toto would be taken away. And the world is really gloomy. How could it be that Toto bit someone? Dorothy ran away from home with Toto afraid that Toto would be taken away again? I feel that the people at home don't understand me, and I want to see the outside world. When I met a fortuneteller, I secretly looked at the photos in the basket and said that Aunt Em in the crystal ball was sick and was crying. Dorothy was very worried and ran back immediately, and was caught in a storm. When she went home, people hid in the cellar, and Aunt Em couldn't find Dorothy in the center of the storm, so she hid in too. Dorothy was swept into the sky with the house. There is obviously a green screen and people controlling the house. But it was already a great leap in that era. As soon as you push the door, the world becomes colorful, so beautiful. Glinda emerged from the pink bubbles of Death Barbie, but it was so beautiful, so gentle and elegant, the pink skirt was too gorgeous and inexplicably cute, a group of pretty golden people, the faces of adults, and a small body. Like a fairy tale drama rehearsed when I was young. Is this a fairy tale opera? Walking on the right foot and marching together, so happy. Coroner: The Wicked Witch of the East is not only dead, but also dead from the inside out. Hahahaha The scarecrow should be a dancer. The limbs are so soft that the tin man is stuck and lubricated, and the real performance is a bit exaggerated. It’s a musical, but it’s very happy that the poppies in the movie have been changed to poison by the Wicked Witch. It was the good witch who saved everyone from the snow. Did not reflect the quality of not giving up each other. In the movie, four people met Oz together, and Dorothy described them as humble and docile. The Wicked Witch commanded Flying Monkey to take Dorothy and Dogzi directly away, leaving behind three others. The wicked witch threatened Dorothy with a dog, but Dorothy's immortal shoes could never be taken off. This is very different from the novel. The dog ran away, and the witch gave Dorothy the countdown to death (exciting). (The witch died in Doha haha) Toto found everyone and came together to rescue Dorothy. Everyone pretended to be soldiers and mixed in. The lion was very timid, but still bravely went to save Dorothy. The Scarecrow is still very smart, knowing that letting the Tin Man cut the rope and smash the lamp will burn the Scarecrow to death. Dorothy poured water on and killed the witch. She did not describe the hardships of the return journey, but felt that it was also important to stick to the original intention on the way back. It’s not based on how many people you love, but based on how many people love you. Use the Medal of Courage, Certificate of Commendation, etc. to make them realize their importance. In the movie, all three little ones stayed to rule the country of Oz. Finally, it was discovered that the three little ones were Dorothy’s three friends and the man in a suit. They were all by Dorothy’s side. It’s nice. "Nowhere." The movie is very exciting, the color contrast is very vivid. It feels like a big production of that era, and the scene switching and the actors are also very careful.

Find the collective identity, find the place above the rainbow, and believe in your dreams.

I love the wicked witch! The magnificent childhood adventure. The intertext between OZ part and Kansas part is very interesting. I would have watched this movie when I was a kid. Now I can’t find much fun. Rainbow is not bad...but the special effects and makeup are done very well. It is definitely a five-star in 39 years.

I have read picture books when I was young, and I am familiar with the scarecrow without the brain, the tin man without the heart, and the short lion. The stalk of the Wizard of Oz often appears in other film and television works, but I have never seen this classic movie of 39 years. Now it seems that although the setting is rough, it still has the beauty of a fairy tale. Only a while ago did I know the icon status of this movie in lgbt history. Dorothy's non-discriminatory attitude towards friends, the worry-free happiness of the magic world, and the support of the heroine Judy for this group. The symbol of lgbt? It was developed from the song above the rainbow sung by Dorothy. From time to time, people dressed up as Dorothy in the pride parade. The classics will last forever.

The Wizard of Oz quotes

  • Miss Gulch: If you don't hand over that dog, I'll bring a damage suit that'll take your whole farm! There's a law protecting folks against dogs that bite!

Auntie Em: How would it be if she keeps him tied up? He's really gentle... with gentle people, that is.

  • The Wizard of Oz: [in a booming voice] Step forward, Tin Man!

The Tin Man: [terrified, steps forward] Ohhhh!

The Wizard of Oz: [still in a booming voice] You DARE to come to me for a heart, do you? You clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caligenous junk!

The Tin Man: Yes, sir. Yes, your honor. You see... a while back, we were walking down the yellow brick road. And...

The Wizard of Oz: [booming voice] Quiet!
