Beautiful robot war-no nostalgia

Transformers means everything from the golden age of childhood to me.

They were the only ones in my mind for the four years from 88 to 1992. I watched the rebroadcasts of each station over and over again, and recorded a few classic episodes of slow-motion study of the deformation process, in order to draw the drawings, and then use the materials I have on hand to make the deformation and shape of Transformers exactly the same as those on TV. (After all, parents can only buy a few. If you want to have a huge deformed army, doing it yourself is king!) It was that era when I had a strong interest in machinery and electronics, and the level of art and craftsmanship was greatly improved. I even had the dream of being an inventor...

Hehe
maybe it was too much poisoning of the 84 TV version of Transformers at that time, so when watching the 2007 and 2009 movie versions, in addition to expectations, excitement and shock There is always a feeling of regret and loss.

Unfortunately, the styling design.
The shape of the movie version of Transformers is too scattered and too messy, too much emphasis or even showing off their mechanical complexity and sense of technology. This is not a good design that I admire. I still like the handsome guys in the 1980s who were very "well-shaped". They felt more like people as partners rather than stacking machine parts.

What is lost is the sense of humanity.
The plot, background, and emotional portrayal of the movie version are too Hollywood, lacking the character of the Autobots in the 84 version and the delicate and natural fusion between humans and the earth. In particular, the American pop culture of the 70s and 80s reflected in the words and deeds of many Autobots in the 84 edition makes people think that they are foreign friends with different skin colors and physiques.
Yes, they are more like "people" with lively characters.
And there is too little humanity in them in the movie. They are portrayed as simple aliens, cute and witty robot pets, and even stupid, thoughtless steel monsters... The
director used too much special effects and scenes, so that the delicate feelings and character shaping were severely lacking.
It feels to me that those interesting old friends are gone, leaving behind a bunch of fancy circus monkeys playing around...

but there are a few fighting clips that are really beautiful. If you look at it as a Robot Wars movie, then his shots are indeed remarkable. Must pay tribute to these CG workers.
In addition, it can be regarded as a propaganda film of American military power. From this perspective, it is also quite successful. The direct result is that my hands are itchy again, and I want to play sex again...

Anyway, just don't take this movie as nostalgic.

2 is not as good as 1.

Faced with such a mentally handicapped plot, he insincerely changed. Barely give 3 points.

  • Galloway: I'm ordering you to stand down.

    [rips off Lennox's badges]

Galloway: [sneer] You won't be needing this anymore. Get your assets back to base! And take that pile of scrap metal back to Diego Garcia. Let's go!

[leaves as Epps comes to stand next to Lennox]

Chief Master Sergeant Epps: I really don't like that dude. He's an asshole.

  • [NEST brings Optimus's body to Egypt]

Chief Master Sergeant Epps: We just dropped ten tons of dead robot out in the middle of nowhere. I sure hope this kid knows what he's doing...

    Major Lennox: Yeah, me too.
