The background music has always been full of strong European flavor. I can't understand the lyrics, but it makes people feel light, just like the movie itself. Exceptionally brisk. There is a sense of hope, and even the ridiculous looking shots are never heavy. It's a beautiful, not sad movie.
But not comedy. It keeps making you unable to stop thinking because they have the same confusion as you. Why should we choose this person to be our lover? When should you decide to spend your life with him? Why is there always the existence of irreconcilable imperfections? These complex issues, how to make it concise, so that they will never waver?
When Antonio gracefully and directly invited the two girls to Orvieto, Antonio invited Vicchi to see the Spanish guitar playing, which inspired the careful Vicchi step by step to respect his inner thoughts and open his body. It's amazing, this always seems to be the plot of my dreams.
A girl like Christina is my type. She is different from Vicky. I say she is the brave one and can get happiness, but it doesn't mean that Vicky can't get happiness. That is not the same happiness, so I often need a definition of happiness. She is warm but not proud, she is tolerant but not compromised. She never stops thinking, she doesn't give up chasing until she meets the right one, otherwise she won't stop.
The most touching moment is the kiss of Christina and Maria in the red darkroom. I laughed when I saw it, very happy. It's a luxury to have a warm moment that you can't refuse like a dream.
Antonio is a wonderful man, he sees exactly what all girls need, encourages them, comforts them, and makes love to them, but not to take them for himself. Although sometimes he's not very good at dealing with the aftermath.
I don't know if Christina will be happy in the end, all I know is that Vicky and Maria can't get that happiness in the true sense of the word to me. And among these three people, the one who is most likely to touch that kind of happiness is Christina. Vicky can't be loyal to her own feelings, but she is also giving herself good protection, at least she won't be hurt. Maria takes her feelings as life, and at the same time she herself becomes extremely vulnerable.
I'm not confused by this movie, I'm confused by myself. I don't know if I'm Vicky or Cristina, or if they're both of me, and Maria, has been hiding in the most secret parts.
