Beef Stew with Potatoes

Russian beef stew with potatoes heard from friends who stayed in Russia, the taste is not like domestic beef stew with potatoes. Basically, I haven’t seen a movie produced in Russia. The Russian movie “Lost in the Tomb” is a movie that mixes many popular elements, so it feels very strange to me, and I can’t say I like it.

"Lost in the Ancient Tomb" tells the story of four young people who traveled from now to World War II. We have seen a lot of movie stories about the travel, such as "Myth" in China, "Untouchable Lovers" in South Korea, "My Robot Girlfriend" in Japan, "Twelve Monkeys" in the United States, and "Lola Run" in Germany. There are many classics among them. The time-travel of "Lost in the Ancient Tomb" seems to be a bit ordinary. You can guess the end after reading the beginning, and there is not much suspense.

The four young people traveled to the war between Russia and Germany during World War II. Of course, they could not do without the scenes of gunfire. There are still gaps in war movies. In the middle, the male protagonist is interspersed with an "American Pie"-style boy and girl romance, and you will find that Russian movies are approaching Hollywood commercial movies.

What touched me the most about the movie was that the veteran of World War II asked the male protagonist from the future, "When will the war end?" "The war ended on May 9, 1949." Yes, everyone is deeply involved in the war How many people who are suffering in China hope that the war will end sooner and lead a peaceful life. The film is also awakening a new generation of young Russians who will not forget the damage caused by the Nazis in World War II. The resurrection of the Nazi spirit and the rampant neo-Nazi skinheads in Russia are really sad and disturbing. Just as my Russian friends and I said skinheads are the most arrogant hooligans in Moscow, even the police dare not control them.
