The idea of the plot is very unique, but it failed to capture the depth and atmosphere it should have. When the anti-narcotics agent said, "The study of criminals can give insight into the status quo of human civilization," and when he said, "The 'deadly virus' is a mental criminal that has long been established in the system", I was really frightened by these violent words, and I sat upright. I was going to visit the director to explore criminal psychology, but it turned out that I only saw the perverts of a few of them and other tricks with vague faces and characters. In fact, I only remember three people among the prisoners in the air prison: the villain, the black conspirator, and the unlucky guy who tried to sneak away but was burned alive. That murderer? He is the biggest paradox. The director seemed to want to tell us that he was moved by the innocence of the little girl. But a person with a criminal record of killing 37 people and using the body of one of the girls as a hat can really be influenced so easily? Possibly, but only for a while. A person's psychological change is a long-term process, but the director wants to turn a murderer into a human angel through such an unreliable hijacking incident? ! It can only show that the director is naive and irresponsible in grasping the character's character.
And the black villain, I wanted to see how he could overthrow the big villain's rule, but his performance couldn't match the introduction to him about the "black guerrillas" in the title. All I saw in the whole movie was that he was laughing cunningly but not smartly, and even his marksmanship was not very accurate. How could he be the leader of the guerrillas? ! Oh, yes, maybe the director wants to talk about racism, but unfortunately, in the movie, the role of this topic is only a small gimmick at the beginning.
This is the natural paradox of this film: it is rooted in the entertainment value of commercial blockbusters, but it wants to tap into a considerable depth of human nature. When it is overwhelmed, it has to retreat. So we see a Hollywood wandering between entertainment and art Popcorn action movie. It can't be a classic, it can only be worth watching.
