This is a movie that I wanted to watch
when I saw the preview very early, but it was forgotten when I waited for it to come out.
One day, the whim was recalled by Camel, and in the
end, I didn't expect to pass the time at will.

As soon as a certain uncle with a
shaved head appeared , I cried out in my heart , "Not good/sxxt!"
Nicolas Cage + fantasy film = garbage,
this iron general law has already made my heart languish countless times.

Sure enough, it was a long time ago, how could I even forget about this,
so I immediately lowered my expectations for this work automatically.
Or maybe it's because of being so "unsuspecting" that
watching the whole movie feels pretty good.

The first thing that makes people wonder is that,
contrary to the setting of fantasy films that focus on naive children in recent years,
a physics otaku turns into a wizard.
Since the popularity of "The Big Bang Theory",
otaku diaosi have become a highly regarded group.
This film is to let Jay Baruchel, the stuttering short ugly poor, twist
all the way to shine.

The small and fresh Theresa Palmer vase is still there,
not as good as the "goddess" Monica Bellucci with only a few shots.
The old actor Alfred Molina who played the
villain fell short this time, and his limelight was robbed by his 2B subordinate Toby Kebbell.

As far as the plot is concerned, the story is quite simple,
and the main line is clear.
Fortunately,
there are some repetitions and transitions between the protagonist from "mortals" to "true gods", and
occasional complaints make people smile.

slightly disappointing,
One is that the number of Russian nesting dolls/enemies is too small, and the
final decisive battle is not enjoyable enough. It's
not as good as "Ghostbusters"! ╮(╯_╰)╭

Finally, it is worth mentioning that
One Republic created the episode "Secrets" for this work.
With the brilliant discharge effect of the Tesla electric circle,
(it is estimated that this is the second time on the screen after "Deadly Magic")
, the introverted romantic moments of the otakus are vividly displayed!

Uncle Cage finally didn't receive a bad movie this time, but unfortunately the bright spot is not in him... Sad reminder...

The Sorcerer's Apprentice quotes

  • Dave: [holding shoes Balthazar has just given him] These are old-man shoes.

    Balthazar: Excuse me?

Dave: [having noticed that Balthazar is wearing the same style of shoe] I love them... a lot.

  • Balthazar: You're a bad liar, Dave. That's good.
