On the Perfectability of Zombies: A Tribute to Rousseau

Zombies are born cold-blooded, but are everywhere in perfection. How this change came about, I don't know. What makes this possible, I am confident that I can answer that question.

Zombies come from people, but because they don't have long-term memories, they don't know how they became like this. They may be old, but immature. Living only to eat fresh flesh every day, there are only a few solitary words and hums left in the once "logos". They live in groups and want to communicate with others, but in a limited range. The most common is foraging together.
Some zombies who couldn't stand hunger began to eat their own flesh. Until it turned into a skinny skeleton. They lost the ability to speak, but retained their powerful attack power, as well as the plans and calculations left for survival. -Because their brains are still preserved.
Generally, zombies with a little self-respect will not settle for this, so they would rather starve often than become like that, and they still expect to stand up straight and hold their heads high, so that they will also be respected by others.

Maybe too much to say, back to the topic: how zombies are perfected.
This change came by accident. Because cannibalism can kill that person completely, without turning him into a zombie like himself - they see their own kind of flaws: slow movement, cold body, arms shaking involuntarily, but Crucially: they can no longer remember who they are.
Eating a person's brain can gain that person's memory. He accidentally ate a young man's brain, and that memory inspired what he had lost:
love.
Thus, he protects the different for love, deceives and even hurts the same. And the heart that inspires love begins to re-mobilize, the heart begins to move, and gradually it works well. His "conscience" has come back, and his body has become hot... I
once thought that zombies have only weak rationality, simple logos, and a small group of people. Everything they do is to protect themselves. Just like a pack of wolves, all of them are for themselves. Although they will go out together to hunt for food, they will also hurt each other for food.
But love makes them discover that conscience is also their nature. Pure calculation will not make them live happily, but will turn into selfishness and fear of death like skinny skeletons. Only conscience can make them back to happy people: the body is hot, the blood is red, the heart is beating.

"Conscience! Conscience! You are the divine instinct, the immortal voice of heaven; you are the sure teacher of an ignorant and narrow creature; you are sensible and free; you are the infallible judge of good and evil, you make zombies Similar to man; it was you who made the superiority of a zombie's nature and the morality of his actions; without you I would feel nothing in my heart that would make me higher than a skinny skeleton, and I would have only a hapless privilege , with the help of an unregulated intellect and an unruly calculation, to make mistakes after mistakes, and I don’t know what to do.”

Warm Bodies quotes

  • Julie: What's with all the vinyl? Couldn't figure out how to work an iPod?

    R: Better... sound.

Julie: Oh, you're a purist, huh?

    R: More... alive.

Julie: Yep, that's true. A lot more trouble, though.

    [R shrugs]

Julie: There you go again. Shrugging! Stop... shrugging, shrugger. It's a very noncommittal gesture.

    [R shrugs again]

    Julie: Really?

  • M: [after R stops him from eating Julie] What?

    R: Julie.

    M: Living. Eat.

    [R shakes his head]

    M: [nodding] Eat.

    [R doesn't back down]

    M: [angrily] Eat!
