Not my race, punished without guilt

In fact, I think zombie movies have a terrible metaphor, that is, there are too many human beings on the earth, and a reasonable excuse is needed to clean up and kill most of the population. In fact, I think many people have thought of this problem (overpopulation), but the concept based on civilization cannot be implemented. I have always worried that the current peace is just a brief moment in the long history of human beings killing each other. All with just one excuse to start. Zombies are savage, with tenacious vitality and killing instinct, so different from us, there is no guilt in killing them. Not my race. I wonder if the killing of Indians by whites was based on such a collective subconscious? What about the last surviving Indians, the "transformed" zombies in this film? Oh, maybe their ancestors also need to kill some of the same kind as a vote.

Warm Bodies quotes

  • Julie: What's with all the vinyl? Couldn't figure out how to work an iPod?

    R: Better... sound.

Julie: Oh, you're a purist, huh?

    R: More... alive.

Julie: Yep, that's true. A lot more trouble, though.

    [R shrugs]

Julie: There you go again. Shrugging! Stop... shrugging, shrugger. It's a very noncommittal gesture.

    [R shrugs again]

    Julie: Really?

  • M: [after R stops him from eating Julie] What?

    R: Julie.

    M: Living. Eat.

    [R shakes his head]

    M: [nodding] Eat.

    [R doesn't back down]

    M: [angrily] Eat!
