Normal narrative simply doesn't fit the movie.
Every paragraph of the original involves Ender's growth. The movie can't be thrown away, but there is not enough time to put it all in, so the details can only be thrown away. So the movie seems too rushed. And when time is tight, the most anticipated space wars have also been compressed.
According to what I said, there is no need to retake the film. Get David Fincher to come and cut the whole film according to the model of "The Social Network". When it comes out with a neurotic main theme, this film is on fire.
Graff: He's down, why do you keep hitting him?
Flashback: Fight 1
Peter: You loser!
Flashback: Bangzuo beat
Graf quarrel with female instructors
and talk to Valenti: You influenced Peter
Andre: I want to quit.
Graff: I need him to grow into a real commander.
Pecha broke down during the exam.
With Graff: He's not ready yet.
Ender: Pecha! Call back your fleet! Pecha!
Mazerehan: You can never really be ready.
Ender woke up from his sleep.
(I know my arrangement is unreasonable, but that's roughly what I mean.)
Popular works can be approachable, but masterpieces only need to be B to sell. If the juvenile PI did not engage in those layers of metaphors, do you think it would still drive the movie-watching boom?
In fact, the original FANS can completely accept such a shooting method, but the film studio is afraid that ordinary audiences will not understand it and are unwilling.
Then there is no way.
