Whether Sun Wukong is a diaosi or a second-generation official, this is indeed a question

After watching "Havoc in Heaven", I sincerely want to say to the director, screenwriter and boss of this film: Do you know how obedient you are in the movie?

I have no intention of spoilers, nor do I want to hold on to the original work and basic mythological common sense, because after all, this is an adaptation that incorporates Western magic.
But I want to say: you can ignore common sense, you can be ridiculous, but you can't refresh the lower limit of Chinese filmmakers' integrity. That is to reverse black and white, and secretly change the core belief of the story of making a havoc in the Heavenly Palace - this belief is the pursuit of freedom and the resistance to power.
Don't you advertise yourself as a fusion of Western magic and Eastern mythology? It's a pity that you only hyped those fur shapes and special effects, and made them very rough. Why don't you learn the core spirit of the real Western magic?
What spirit? Think of the Lord of the Rings, Tolkien's world is difficult because there is an evil emperor on the top, hiding in the dark, commanding an army of evil to try to control all the people, but all the freedom-loving people resist heroically, and in the end The biggest heroes are the humble hobbits, who love music and food, and regard friendship and loyalty as life. Therefore, the pursuit of freedom and the praise of friendship and love are the eternal themes of Western magical stories, and also the constant pursuit of our human beings.

Let's go back and look at this "Havoc in Heaven" with a sheep's head and a dog. Of course I can understand its appearance, because the producers are striving for political correctness in order to pass the film review smoothly: Heaven as a ruler is forever Correct, even if there is a problem, individual leading cadres are corrupt and degenerate, and the ruler Jade Emperor must be tall. And the demons, who are ruled but want to resist, must be evil.
So under the premise of this kind of political correctness, Sun Wukong, who resisted the heavenly court, became a hot potato, because he is a big hero in the hearts of the Chinese people, but no matter how big the hero is, he can't resist the heavenly court.
Speaking of which, I would like to say that the director and screenwriter really worked hard, they racked their brains to make up a story that even the imperial literati dare not make up. In this story, Sun Wukong was originally the second generation of officials. He didn't have to go through the joys and sorrows of the world to think about the relationship between freedom and life and death, and he didn't have to go through hardships to find the truth. The integrity came to the door to accept the apprentice. This is really a lifetime of struggle, not as good as the moment of reincarnation.
And the reason for Wukong's rioting in the Heavenly Palace even more reflects the political correctness of the screenwriter. Although Wukong is also a rebel, he is different from the Mozu, because he was deceived! Moreover, after discovering the truth, our hero turned to repentance. Not only did he get his comrades who rebelled and saved the mainstream society, but he also took the initiative to be held under the Wuzhi Mountain to atone for his sins. This idea is great, and I have to applaud them!

In fact, I have always felt that Journey to the West is not just a mythical novel, but a realistic work that can no longer be realistic, because in the world of Journey to the West, there are virtuous immortals and most affectionate monsters. The reason why the image of Monkey King is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people is because he symbolizes the most simple and primitive feelings in our hearts in the original work. This feeling is free, passionate and unrestrained.
The most important thing is, if there is no chaos in the Heavenly Palace, if there is no spirit of fighting with power to the end, if there is no tragic failure of failure, will Sun Wukong still be the hero in our hearts?

It is sad and angry that "Havoc in the Sky" actively flattered the ruler for political correctness, and even completely subverted a hero's image. We cannot ask a film company to undertake cultural pursuits and social responsibilities, but I still want to ask how we will tell our children the story of the havoc in the heavens and the story of the Monkey King.
In other words, whether Sun Wukong is a freedom fighter from a diaosi background or a second-generation official who maintains his rule is crucial to the future of our nation. This is by no means a big talk.
So, how do you want to tell the story of the havoc in the heavenly palace? How would you like to hear it?
