Warm corpse: Romeo who forgot his name

I took stock of what I did during the winter vacation. In addition to the big family reunion, eating and drinking, and meeting and drinking with old classmates, I also watched some books and movies in my spare time. It took me half a day to watch The novel "Warm Corpse", and then I read "The Changes in Modern China" written by Mr. Guo Tingyi in the evening, and after that, I read "The Life in Exile of the Separatist (Autobiography of the Dalai Lama)" (still reading, there are 100 more) After reading the page), and then revisited "Xiao Shiyi Lang" and "Rush Xiao Shiyi Lang" on the train back to Beijing. Looking back, it was just a short winter vacation, wow, I actually watched so much. In the movies, I watched "Control", "Transcendence", "Zombie", and then "Warm Corpse" because of the book. Today is the Lantern Festival. After today, the traditional Spring Festival will be over. Therefore, before starting new reading and watching movies, it is also necessary to liquidate the accumulated goods during the Spring Festival.

Because it is a movie version that is read first and then watched, it must be admitted that the movie version of "Warm Corpse" does not capture the essence of the original book, that is, it does not capture the tense atmosphere of the sword-drawn sword, nor the rich inner world of zombies. And the fragile and irrational side of the Human Resistance. And, it seems, there are some issues with casting. At the very least, I think it would have been better to have the slick John Marcovich play M, who I thought fit him very well before I saw the movie. When I watched the film, I found out that this guy was real, but he played the leader of the human resistance army, so I felt that there was a big dislocation for no reason, and there was also a sense of absurdity.

Let's talk about the love between this zombie and human beings. With the "Twilight" series of pearls ahead, the love of vampires, werewolves and humans has already done enough foreshadowing, so there are not too many ethical obstacles to accept it. "Warm Corpse" can be said to be a sci-fi romance film. Its story background takes place in the future. After the disaster, the world has become a doomsday scene. Due to the infection, the vast majority of humans died, and the rest lived in limited areas. The humans in this story lived in a stadium atmosphere in New York. The areas outside human life are occupied by a large number of zombies. After people die, most of them rot away, and a small part of them become zombies, that is, zombies. And relatively speaking, in the design of the story, zombies are the majority in the world. Among the zombies, there are also two types, one is the type whose corpse has not yet rotted, and the other is the type where only skeletons are left.

For the two types of zombies, their bodies have not rotted yet. As one of the species, they also have their own world and even their own feelings, but there are some problems in the expression of each other. As a manifestation of Darwin's theory of evolution, the existence of zombies, their food is human, this is a must. Just like humans, if you want to live, you have to eat, and you have to eat other animals and plants to survive, and zombies feed on living people. And for zombies, their greatest enjoyment is to eat people's brains. Because the brain is used by living people for thinking and memory, when zombies eat other people's brains, those other people's memories will flash in the zombie's brain, so that the zombies have a moment of human memory, Ji Guang Katana, like an orgasm during sex, flashes by, but it's wonderful.

Humans are huddled in a fortress within the scope of a stadium, and they have to send people outside to collect food and medicine. Zombies want to hunt living people, and people have to go out to find necessities, so the encounter between zombies and people is inevitable.

When zombie R went to the city for food with his good buddy M, he happened to meet Julie and her lover Kevin who were out looking for medicine. R knocked down Kevin and ate him. When Wen's mind was in, R was instantly filled with Kevin's memories, and in an instant, triggered by Kevin's memories, R fell in love with Julie.

A zombie falls in love with a man, just as a wolf falls in love with a sheep. This is really a hopeless thing, zombies can only eat people, and R not only did not eat, but saved Julie and brought Julie back to his home, a dilapidated jet. The wolf fell in love with the sheep, and raised the sheep, not to eat her one day, just pure love. R has Kevin's brain stem in his pocket, and he will take a bite after a while, so that Kevin's memory can be active in his mind, so as to find the factor of loving Julie.

For zombies, as a species, there is the possibility of development and transformation. Turn left, because they were originally infected humans, so it is possible to remove the infection and be resurrected as human beings, while turning right will rot all the flesh on their bodies, turning them into skeletons that can no longer be reversed. Evil zombies.

R and M, because of the relative integrity of their bodies, and because they keep eating human beings, and are happy to enjoy the human brain, they have constantly experienced the moment of being human, which makes it possible for them to gradually wake up. And R, who is in love, is converted faster because of his strong erotic desire. This change makes the zombies who have become skeletons feel inexplicably terrible, because they do not want the world of zombies to disappear, and they do not want to see the world of zombies transformed.

For the people who came, Julie happened to be the human leader who resisted the Mulberry Corps. Those who survived that hunt reported that Julie was taken away by the zombies and was still alive, so humans had the motive to attack the zombies. R and Julie's incoherent love, between two impossible species. Between love and inability to love, there is an inevitable fight between the two species, and it is your life and death. That kind of situation, like Romeo and Juliet.

Well, this story was originally a rewrite of Romeo and Juliet, and the original author has cleverly recreated it according to Shakespeare's works, so there is this new version of a strange love story. And Julie's name comes from Juliet, and R comes from Romeo, not Robert, nor Landau. And M, Kevin, Nora, etc. all found their prototypes in Shakespeare's stories. But the reason why a classic becomes a classic lies in the profound and moving nature of his story setting. Even after turning around a few times and becoming the love between R and Julie, it is still moving.

Because of love, R finally defeated the infected virus in his body, and finally successfully resurrected and became a human being. In the same way, because of the friendship in the same trench as R, M and his brothers have gradually come back to life. Those zombies who still have flesh have the possibility to defeat the virus and wake up again. And the zombies who have become skeletons can only be completely eliminated because they have completely lost their humanity.

It is love that regenerates human beings, transforms loss, and rejuvenates the world. The theme setting of love here is actually quite beautiful, and the novel becomes particularly vivid because of such a theme. The movie has been discounted a few times, but it still has its charm, although the people who may be impressed may be a little less. All, some like it, some don't.

Sure enough, the highlights are all in the trailer. The main feature is the original soundtrack of the golden age of European and American pop music. Shakespeare should apply to the Screenwriters Guild for his signature right.
