Mad Max 1 - Mad Max

I don’t know if the plot setting and shooting style of Australian movies are always so strange. From the beginning of “War at Dawn”, I feel that this is really the difference between the two hemispheres. What a nation facing upwards can correctly understand.
To be honest, the movie is a bit strange in terms of plot setting. Given that the first movie was made in 1979, it is understandable, and the style is also considered to be the style of that era. Max is still a normal policeman in the fight against the bikers. Family is dead.

Women who are heroes usually die. The hero's leather jacket is so tempting.

As a film of 1979, there are still a lot of slots in it, such as the unreasonable plot logic, incoherent scene editing, and scribbled endings, etc., but as the opening film of the series, its significance is very big .

Mad Max quotes

  • [the gang is holding Sprog]

Jessie: [pleading] Please. Give me my baby.

Toecutter: [feigning concern] Jessie, Jessie, Jessie. You've not got a sense of humor.

    [whispering]

Toecutter: You've got a pretty face, though. Awful pretty. Awful pretty.

    [brightly]

Toecutter: I suppose you don't need a sense of humor with a pretty face. The only trouble is though, Missy, if you should...

[wiping his face roughly with his hand, then whispering]

    Toecutter: ... lose the face...

Jessie: Please don't hurt my baby.

    Toecutter: ...you've got NOTHING.

Jessie: What do you WANT from me?

    Toecutter: Don't change the subject.

  • Fifi: People don't believe in heroes anymore.

Labatouche: I know McCaffee, you want to give them back their heroes. You will not try this one on me again, I do not enjoy wasting money. Goodbye and good luck.

Fifi: Thanks Labatouche, you're a real human being.
