Personal rating: ★★★★☆

I remember that this movie moved me a lot. These "hands" appeared at 77:43, 80:06, 81:22, 85:22, 86 respectively. :18.

This movie came to my mind when I saw this scene on my way off work the other day: "A woman listening to the phone and breaking up with the man on the phone was walking down the street, crying, staggering, and staggering."

I wondered why. The irrelevant scene reminds me of this movie suddenly. After thinking about it, I guess it might be that sometimes we shed tears when we don’t need to shed it, but often ignore something more sincere, especially when we see these situations as bystanders. ?

Of course this is just a question.

Life is a simple thing, so I hope tomorrow is another good day.

  • Alan: I'm Alan Lombardo: stage 3 lymphoma. Pleased to meet you.

Mitch: Mitch Barnett, metastatic prostate cancer.

Adam: Oh, I'm Adam Lerner, schwannoma neurofibrosarcoma.

Alan: What the fuck is that?

Mitch: Tough break. The more syllables, the worse it is.

  • Adam: I want this to be over. I'm so fucking tired of being sick... if this surgery doesn't work, that's it -

    [crying]

Adam: I've never been to fucking Canada or told a girl I love her... it sounds stupid.

    Katherine: No. It doesn't.

Adam: I'm sorry I was such an asshole.

Katherine: I was the asshole. I was so totally unprepared for you. This job is really hard. If I fuck up, I could ruin someone's whole life.

Adam: I guess we're both beginners at this.

    Katherine: [smiles] Yeah.
