Talking about Credence, the character that broke my heart (with spoilers)

I have been looking forward to it for a long time, and I did it three times immediately after the screening. Every time I did it, there were new discoveries.

I am so happy~ Apart from the protagonist group of four, the one who impressed me the most was Credence, which broke my heart. Credence who shed tears three times.

Before watching this movie, my first impression of the poster where Ezra Miller and Colin Farrell stood together was: Why is Ezra's beautiful curly hair missing! What is going on with this pot cover now! In the wallflower boy, Patrick, who is so handsome, just doesn't see the birds, 嘤嘤嘤~ The

second impression is that Credence estimates that they are in the same camp as Graves, and they are both relatively powerful villains.

However, I didn't expect that Credence turned out to be such a character... He has lived in my heart forever.

We don't know if Credence was adopted by Mary Lou since he was a child, but maybe he didn't get a little warmth throughout his childhood. He has the appearance of an adult, but is shy and clumsy—somewhat similar to the appearance of autism in Muggle World. For some reason, he became the most annoying child of adoptive mothers, and even had to take off his skin and bring Mary Lou to beat him. Even though he was taller than Mary Lou, he did not choose to resist...because even though he resisted, he has lived for a long time. Under the "vacuum" environment organized by Second Salemer, he has no way to find himself a path to a better future. He was like a lonely little beast, even if he broke free from the cage, he couldn't survive in the wilderness.

Despite the appearance of an adult, as a silent person, Credence is still a child in his heart, a child who is very, very thirsty for love and warmth. Graves only appeared occasionally, and only to get news about the silent, but Credence still lusted for this little warmth, the few hugs and comforts, and the guarantee of the few "you are not a freak". He believes that Graves is his friend, he trusts him, so he is not afraid of being beaten when he comes home late.

But his friend personally wiped out his last little wish for this world-"You're unteachable...you're useless to me. We're done." (similar meaning, don't remember the specific (Quoted) The magical world, the place he had longed for, the place with warmth, love and tolerance, and the place without whip, just locked the door by his trusted and dependent friends. His friend, who he secretly regarded as a father, kicked him viciously after achieving his goal. The person who helped him heal his wounds slapped himself when he was most vulnerable and suffering. In this way, all his beliefs collapsed. For any child, this effect is devastating-his silent eruption, and he "does not want to control it." To my surprise, he didn't kill Graves. Maybe it's the kindness of his nature after losing control, maybe he still believes in Graves a little bit.

Even though he was transformed into a "beast", the kindness deep in Credence's heart still remained. He didn't kill Graves who hurt him; he calmed down when Newt and Tina calmed him in the subway station. I immediately entered the most heartbreaking scene-

Newt walked into the subway station lightly and watched the black fog rolling around, coaxing a child or coaxing his magical animal to Credence and said: "This It's Credence, right?...I'm here to help you. I'm not here to hurt you." "I've seen someone like you. A girl. She was punished for having magical powers..." "I Can I come here? Credence, can I come (close to you)?"

After hearing Newt know another silent person, Credence slowly changed from a thick black fog back to a human form, like a soul, from It crawled out of its thick shell—His soul crept out of its hiding place. Innocent child, his hopes were rekindled—he might be thinking, "Is there any possibility of change?"

Credence Sitting quietly on the rails, listening to Newt's gentle talk, slowly approaching him, there was a little flame of hope in his heart.

But in an instant, this hope was disillusioned. Graves rushed in and started attacking Newt frantically. Graves' attack became stronger and stronger, and this time Credence, who wished to control his silence, could no longer control it. He was crying and trembling, black smoke enveloping him... he became a whirlwind out of control again. Until Tina rushed into the subway station: "Credence, don't do this!" The black smoke stopped immediately, only spinning slowly. Newt: "Tina, keep talking to him...he will listen...he is listening..."

Tina's eyes were full of tears. "I know what that woman did to you... I know you have been tortured... You need to stop this now... Newt and I will protect you..." Tina's voice is so gentle, Binuit's Be gentle...that tone, that tone, like saying to a child: "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid... Mom and Dad will protect you, and we will take you home." Credence's face appeared in the smoke , Crying, afraid, but also looking forward to it. The playbook describes it like this: "Inside the Obscurus, Credence reaches out to Tina, the only person who has ever done him an uncomplicated kindness. He looks at Tina, desperate and afraid. He has dreamed of her ever since she saved him from a beating." Tina is the only person who treats him with impurity-free kindness, and he sincerely hopes that she can take him away, just like a child longs for the warm embrace of his mother.

But at the end of hope, there are countless magic wands with killing intent. In the golden light, he twisted in pain and yelled... soon, this soul disappeared from the world. All that was left were countless floating black fragments.

A child who was abused, suppressed, and lived in the dark since he was a child, the kindness in his heart has never been extinguished, and he will be greedy for a little warmth. It only takes a little warmth and he will always keep you in his heart. But because of ignorance, such a beautiful child was so wiped out... just when his hope was ignited. He lived through the time limit of the silent person, lived through whippings again and again, lived the days of being humiliated and called freaks, but died under the hands of the people in the wonderful world in the dream, and died. Exploitation, betrayal and ignorant men. As a silent person, no one seemed to be able to hear him... the people who killed him didn't seem to hear his painful screams. In any case, he is just a child...an innocent child.

The creators said that the biggest message of this movie is tolerance. I think so. The people of MACUSA want to wipe out the magical creatures and silent ones. They seem to have complied with the law, but in fact they are treating the symptoms rather than the root cause. These people are too "eager for quick success and quick benefits" to see the long-term possibility. It is not good for the wizarding world to kill blindly without getting a deep understanding. If you can tolerate them and live in peace with them, not only will there be no riots, but if you need to fight against Grindelwald in the future, the magical beasts, the silent and the wizard may also be able to fight side by side.

Never judge facts based on appearances alone. Listen, try to understand-in this way, there are countless hearts that can not be hurt, and there are infinite possibilities that will wait in the future.
