There's always something to attract

Although I have gone farther and farther on the road to the third year, the girl's heart is still there. In order to make up for the lack of opportunity to go to the cinema when I was a child, I watched several Disney animated films at once. Thanks to technology, I have less regrets in life.
Mermaids in fairy tales are as beautiful as those in movies. It's just that one turns into a bubble, and a lover gets married. The public is still more willing to see movies with happy endings, but when reading books, tragedies are often more thought-provoking.
The mermaid is also, the mermaid in the fairy tale book, taught us the price of exchange and the cruelty of reality.
The movie version of the mermaid, although it has a happy ending, also contains a lot of reality.
Just as the most pampered tends to be the youngest, mermaids are the youngest daughters and so seem to get the most fatherly love too.
Just like the price of the contract is often very high, the price of the fish tail changing into the legs is the charming singing voice of the little mermaid, and it is precisely because of the loss of the voice that the prince is very happy to get along with her, but it is difficult to be tempted. It can be seen that the prince is not such a superficial prince. Fortunately, he is much better than the prince in Snow White, haha.
Just like the little mermaid and the prince have to leave their dear father and sisters after they get married, yes, when they get together, they leave. For me who just got married, I have a deep understanding. Parents are always the closest, and it is really the older you get, the more you can appreciate this kind of affection.
In short, this is a beautiful story, a beautiful mermaid, a beautiful love, and a beautiful family.
May everything be good~~~

The Daughter of the Sea is one of my favorite fairy tales when I was a child, because of that seemingly different sense of tragedy. The most lovely thing about her now is her reality, a beautiful girl, giving up a warm and familiar family, a deep and free sea, health, talent... She is desperate for a love, but she may not meet the right person. To grow up, to find freedom with kindness. The movie gave up this angle, but contributed nice songs.

The Little Mermaid quotes

  • [Eric is Playing a Melancholic rendition of 'Part of Your World' on his flute as Grimsby aproaches]

Grimsby: Eric, if I may say, far better than any dream girl is one of flesh and blood. One warm, and caring, and right before your eyes.

[Grimsby motions up towards Ariel's bedroom window and leaves. A smile cracks Eric's face, and in a moment of realization Eric throws his Flute to the see and leaves to speak to his lovely young friend, when he hears a familiar voice singing and see's a beautiful young woman walking the beach. The woman continues to sing and places the Prince under a sort of trance]

  • Ursula: [singing] I admit that in the past I've been nasty/They weren't kidding when they called me, well a witch/But you'll find that now-a-days/I've mended all my ways, repented, seen the light and took a switch/true? Yes. And I fortunately know a little magic/It's a talent that I always have possessed, but now dear lately, please don't laugh/I use it on behalf, of the miserable, lonely and depressed!

[conjures a fat mermaid and a skinny merman]

Ursula: [to Flotsam & Jetsam] Pathetic!

Ursula: [Continues singing] Poor, unfortunate souls! So sad, so true! This one longing to be thinner, that one wants to get the girl and do I help them?

[snaps fingers and the pair become fit and hug each other]

Ursula: Yes, indeed! Now it's happened once or twice/someone couldn't pay the price/and I'm afraid I have to rake them across the coals!

    [turns them into seaweed people]

Ursula: Yes I have had my share of complaints but on the whole I've been a saint!... to those Poor Unfortunate Sou-uls!
