David (Jake Gyllenhaal), Miranda (Rebecca Ferguson), Rory (Ryan Reynolds), Shu (Hiroyuki Sanada), and Hugh (Ah Ariyon Bakare (Ariyon Bakare) are astronauts working on the same spacecraft. By chance, they discovered an immature life form on Mars. Hugh brought this living body back to the laboratory. What everyone didn't expect was that this tiny cell actually started to grow rapidly under external stimuli.
As the life form grew, the development of the situation began to lose control. The life form showed strong offensive power and superb intelligence, killing several crew members one after another. Not only that, David discovered that life forms seem to want to land with the spacecraft, and once its conspiracy succeeds, the human beings on the earth are bound to face extinction.
