"Millennium Trilogy" and the Guarantee of "Political Correctness"

Watched the first episode of "The Girl with Dragon Tattoo" and the second episode of "The Girl with Fire" in the "Millennium Trilogy" in two nights. In terms of narrative and plot arrangement, this should be a short Unit drama, but unfortunately it was made into a movie. The entire "Millennium Trilogy" series tells the story of a female hacker and a reporter partner working together to solve a crime. I probably knew the plot before downloading it. I originally planned to give up downloading it, but considering that it is about the Nordic country Sweden. The work, I still read it carefully.

Let me add a few digressions: The story about solving the case is basically the same plot. A conspiracy is followed by another larger conspiracy. Although the heroic character has gone through dangers, he can finally escape when the most dangerous time is the most dangerous. This It can be described as the "political correctness" in the movie, so this kind of stereotype affects it. When I watched this movie, I didn't even feel it at all when I watched the actor who was about to be strangled to death by the perverted murderer. In this way, I actually believe in the "political correctness" of the film rather than the plot arrangement. In the world of movies, I know that the male protagonist will not die, because this advance knowledge has led to my indifference and missed the original beauty in the movie world. In life, I don’t know my destiny as a male protagonist. What will happen, can you really get out of danger in a crisis? Can the final chapter of life really have a happy ending? In my life, there is no such advance knowledge, only infinite possibilities of wandering. I neither know what beauty is, nor am I sure that the beauty in my hand can last forever.

Going back to these two films, from the plot point of view, these two crime-solving films are still very tacky, and their endings are also very "politically correct", but the crime facts in them are very "politically incorrect." "Incorrect" is no longer the theft, robbery, drug trafficking, smuggling of cultural relics, and murder in the past crime-solving films, but the following stories: The

heroine Lisbeth’s father is a sadist and often uses various tools to attack her mother, leading to Her mother will receive physical and psychological treatment in a nursing home throughout her life. Lisbeth couldn’t see the fact that her mother was always abused. Then, while her father didn’t care, she filled a box of gasoline with a milk carton, ran to her father’s body, struck a match, and put him alive. The father burned so decently.

Because Lisbeth burned her father, she was sent to a place similar to the juvenile prison for psychological treatment. During her treatment, she was forced to tie her legs and feet while her attending doctor looked at her. He was groaning in pain, while smiling obscenely.

After Lisbeth came out of the juvenile management office, he accepted the custody of the well-known Bjurman lawyer in the society. The content of the guardianship is mainly to record and evaluate whether Lisbeth meets the requirements of social management in terms of behavior and conduct and whether it endangers the society every month. And manage Lisbeth’s daily needs. But this lawyer Bjurman is a well-dressed beast. Not only did he use his guardian status to threaten Lisbeth to perform oral sex for him, then he forced Lisbeth into his home, beat her, handcuffed her limbs, and beat her with a whip. Finally, Lisbeth raped her when she could not resist.

Later, Lisbeth and reporters went to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young girl. Behind this missing persons case is another more serious violent murder. There were five dead. The deaths occurred between 1949 and 1966 after World War II. All the dead were women, all Jews. They were all killed by the young girl’s uncle. The killer was a Nazi during World War II. , The murderer’s safety during the attack was to inhumanely torture, rape, and kill these five Jewish victims in accordance with the contents of certain chapters in the "Bible", and when the murderer killed these five people, he let his sons A visit from the side resulted in his son being trained as a terrifying torturer and murderer, specializing in the massacre of young foreign prostitutes who were illegal immigrants. After killing people, he liked to take pictures and study people being tortured. Mentality before. And that young girl was raped many times by these two frantic relatives.

Two young scholars discovered that this huge terrorist group was engaged in human trafficking and prostitution, so they conducted in-depth investigations. However, when the article was about to publish these criminal facts, they were both killed.

In the process of watching these two films, I have always been convinced that there will be such a thing as "political correctness", and that the film world will adhere to the creeds of "good guys over bad guys" and "justice over evil", relying on the power of this creed. Allow me to finish this movie effortlessly, even though the criminal facts in it are cruel.

But in hindsight, if there is no guarantee of "political correctness", I am afraid that watching this movie will be a real nightmare experience, like walking on the street in the middle of the night, I thought I would be at a barbecue on the side of the road. The small shop sat down, ordered a bottle of beer and two dozen skewers, and watched quietly the two underworld gangs fighting in the distance. It was wonderful and would not hurt me, but I did not expect it to be implicated for no reason. Others used a knife to kill me. He was hacked to death and cruelly dismembered me into several pieces, and then put it into a black garbage bag and threw it into the blazing flames, making me bid farewell to the world without being aware of it.

If there was no guarantee of "political correctness", I would have vomited in the toilet late at night. Fortunately, the ending of the story is that justice triumphs over evil. However, the "relationship between the guarded youth and the guardian" mentioned in the movie, "domestic violence", "slave sex (different from rape)", "illegal foreign immigrants who are easily killed", "Nazi violence after World War II" Problems such as "the still exist" are not necessarily just fictional nightmares.

I am willing to believe that these nightmares are real, because only in this way can we face this fact and propose solutions without causing more people to suffer; but I prefer to believe that there is "politics" in life. The reality of "correctness" means that these ugly facts can be eliminated forever, and it can guarantee a happy ending for our world.

But is there such a guarantee of "political correctness" in life? I remembered the last sentence of "The Seven Deadly Sins": "'This world is beautiful, it's worth fighting for', this sentence is only half right."

It is said that it is better to read the original book first... nose picking [However, this method of killing people according to the Bible is a typical "nursery rhyme killing" plot, so it is not surprising, but it is very complicated to see how the film critics say how to get the money out of the consortium in the end. , I want to watch it & listen to the Swedish dialogue, watch the English subtitles and compare the Chinese subtitles, I'm really anxious...
